That the teachers being driving out can't tell the truth that race is the issue is part of the problem forcing them to flee.
That any white teachers agrees to teach at a black school (other than for a big fat signing bonus) reveals just how ignorant many whites are about blacks and race relations (thanks to a media that is more interested in lies).

I have Kent Steffgen's "Bondage of the Free" right here in front of me. He mentions a book I've been on the lookout for: Robert Kendall's White Teacher in a Black School(NY: Devin-Adair)
The conditions in the story are nothing new.
And we, as a people, have no excuse for letting it happen- we were warned.

Both my cousin AND best friend tried to pull this crap. Teaching in a minority district in order to "save the world" Both of them were complaining about how "hard it has been"
I don't mince words. I say, "When you deal with blacks & hispanics, you know what you will get. THey're not white" And they just look at me as if I insulted their mothers. But they know.
Some whites have to LEARN for themselves

I always thought that Whites were lured into schools in black neighborhoods because they needed teachers who could "control" those schoolchildren. Were black teachers ill-prepared for that job??
I think those certain White teachers who teach in black schools only to "make a difference" deserve what comes to them. White do-gooder-ism is now irrelevant.

The failure of the principal, parents, and teachers to react more decisively to racist disrespect emboldened students to behave worse. Great find there Leveller. I couldn't help but snicker at this idealistic jew learning first hand, the chaos, degradation and racial strife created by his forebearers in times past. "A taste of their own medicine" I think applies here.
