New Education Policy Readied by Bush

In the boldest move to date, Pres. Bush is readying an executive order which will change the face of American higher education. The order will completely revise the present system tenure for University faculties. Any American College or University receiving federal funds for any purpose whatsoever will be required to demand that its faculty members sign an oath in support of the U.S. Patriot Act....

College professors love to pretend to rebel against The Man--have since the 60s--but let's see how many of them still have such chutzpah when their job is on the line.
If only Ike had signed a similar order barring profs from supporting communism, huh?

I suspect that it is Jew professors who are behind this. Daniel Pipes and some others like Dershowitz have complained about some professors` activities to bring about university disinvestment in Israel. Apparently, South Afrika was one thing. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, these Jews are hollering about how bad it pinches. Israel is above criticism to them. :lol:

Oh yeah, like Jorge's Army is gonna waltz into universities like Berkeley and Harvard and force their professors to sign some ridiculous "patriot" act. But, considering the state of universities and their professors in our recent times, this might be some kind of blessing in disguise. For decades, these professors have been self-appointed "leaders" of their questionable beliefs, trying to shove their agendas down everyone's throats. Now they're going to have to bow down and kneel to the Boosh god. What a bummer <_< .

I am inclined to believe that your analysis is the correct one here. It wouldn't surprise me to see the government play the "you're with us or against us" card on the educrats, who have long been known for being anti-war. And, of course, they'd love to tie in those who don't endorse Israel's positions with "terrorism."
