League City [TX] Has Highest Number Of Concealed Guns Galveston County Sheriff Concerned About Report
Gun country tends to encompass the most predominantly white areas of the state, according to the geographic distribution of handgun licenses. A number of pro-gun Web sites -- not including the National Rifle Association's -- also take on issues of race, homosexuality and immigration.
Gun shows and gun-rights literature often feature Confederate flags and language tying the need for gun ownership to the movement of ethnic minorities into neighborhoods.
"Carrying a concealed handgun is primarily a white male thing," Smith, the antigun activist, who is white. "A lot of white males feel threatened by modern society because they see minority groups getting equal treatment along with them. Being a white male doesn't mean you automatically have the position in society or respect that it used to. Carrying a gun does."

Is "Smith" just testosterone challenged, or yet another chosenite with a name change? I had three different teachers throughout HS and college named Smith who were jews. The chosenites had other interesting names as well ... This guy is probably going with the flow, he knows the best way to get press is to curry favor with the self styled chosen.

I the sick three-minute animated short, from 'Bowling for Columbine'; on TV. One might call it's style Frankfurt School meets South Park!
"The best part of this movie is a hilarious three-minute animated short that offers Moore's abridged version of American history beginning with the arrival of the Pilgrims. It attributes every major historical event to racism. I never would have guessed that such an insulting oversimplification could be so funny. The only thing lacking was the voice of Homer Simpson as narrator."

I got to see the Pavlovian wailing and gnashing of the teeth from the all-White Canadian "hip" upper/middle class college liberal crowd when I went to see this film, along with the giggles when a gun-owner would say they own a gun for self-defense. Apparently, the concept of owning a gun for self-defense is "funny" to this generation of Liberals.

In South Africa, all of us Whites were armed to the teeth, with assult rifles and such at home, and the average Black didn't have a gun because they couldn't afford one.
But still, 90+++percent of the murders were Black on Black. They did it with iron bars, knives, poison, whips, necklassing, etc...
The only Afrikaner I knew who didn't have a gun was a liberal, and he was beaten up several times by drunken robbers.

Hey Robbie,
The link is toast. Can someone post the guts of the story here? I'm interested since I used to live in the area and I can tell you, I didn't, nor did anyone I know, carry a pistol because we felt we weren't getting enough "props" for being "honkies." We carried because the I-45 corridor from Houston down to the seawall in Galveston is a sinkhole of crime, with the noted exceptions of the gated communites dotting the area around NASA. I'm also interested why the Galveston county sheriff is "concerned" though I can guess the real reason. I'm not, however, surprised that this story came out of Houston. Anything with racial overtones seems to make headlines there, as long as it's the PC "white bad, black good" variety. As a bonus, the story is antigun as well. Since it's also Shelia Jackson-Lee's territory, I'll leave you to guess how the city is run. I'll give you a hint: think Atlanta and D.C.
