I know we often focus our ire on those who have secularized Christmas. Well, I believe the real meaning behind Thanksgiving has also been hijacked by our ministers of media, and I would just like to say that The Puritan Christians originally had Thanksgiving on December 5th, 1621 to give thanks to Almighty God for all of His blessings in this life. That doesn't seem to be the focus any longer, but on eating Turkey, watching football and two days off from work. George Washington and Abraham Lincoln are the Presidents responsible for keeping the Thanksgiving tradition alive. FDR, the criminal president, was the one who designated the last Thursday of November for Thanksgiving, as to give more time for Christmas shopping season! Anyway, A Happy Thanksgiving to you all. God Bless.

The first officially recognized national holiday that became our modern Thanksgiving was in 1777 to celebrate the surrender of British Major Burgoyne. The Continental Congress proclaimed, "...that with one heart and one voice, the good people may express the greatful feelings of their hearts, and consecrate themselves, to the service of the Divine benefactor..."

Happy Thanksgiving all. Keep your gravy hot and your powder dry.

Yes, Happy Thanksgiving.

I don't ever wish anyone "Happy Holidays" or some such mulitcultural corruption. But, if anyone talks about the Holiday season to me, I just assume they're talking about Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

There is such phenomenon as the word meaning inversion. Looks like the words "anti-diverse", "anti-multicultural", "anti-semitic" etc. are becoming the symbols of something traditional and good
