This article appeared in an insert in my Sunday paper. The cover features a picture of an aging Caucasoid, a Mongoloid and a Mulatto child described as "Mayflower descendants", so I knew I had to share it with OD- ........................................................ Beyond the Mayflower
USA WEEKEND set out to find descendants of those original freedom seekers. Now, look how remarkably diverse this uniquely American lineage has become.

That could be our family on the cover of this magazine.
Like those three people, our children and grandchildren have direct family ties to at least one of the 102 Pilgrims who sailed to the New World on the Mayflower and landed at Plymouth Rock 382 years ago. (Cokie's mom is a descendant of William Brewster, the group's spiritual leader.) The smallest cover subject, 3-year-old Akili McMackin, traces his Mayflower roots through his father, who also claims a connection to fellow descendant President Bush; Akili's mother is African American. The mother of Amanda Meiling Woo, 17, is a Mayflower descendant; her dad is a Chinese American, the son of immigrants from Canton. And Tom McCarthy, 43, of Annapolis, Md., counts seven Mayflower passengers, including John Alden (made famous in a Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem), among his ancestors.
For this Thanksgiving issue of USA WEEKEND, we wanted to show that today's Mayflower descendants come in all colors and cultures. Through the centuries, the children of those first colonists have mixed with a continuous flow of newcomers, enriching the nation's gene pool and helping to define our diversity [.....] Their stories reflect the beating heart of a great nation. History reveres the Mayflower and its journey, but the travelers on that ship, all white Europeans, represent only a part -- a steadily dwindling part -- of America today. We're far stronger as a people because this country continued to welcome new generations of pilgrims, the bravest, strongest, most ambitious pioneers from other lands and cultures. [....] Those same Pilgrim ideals of religious and civic freedom also drew later generations of our family to America. Steve's grandfathers arrived early in the 20th century. **His mother's father, Harry Schanbam, was a Bundist (a member of the Bund Jewish political party) back in Russia, a believer in democratic socialism. ** [...] Steve's father's father, Abraham Rogowsky, was an early Zionist, fleeing the anti-Jewish pogroms of Russia and settling in Palestine, where he worked on some of the first roads ever built in Tel Aviv. After returning to his hometown of Bialystok, which is now in northeastern Poland, he was drafted, but he escaped from the czar's army and returned to Palestine. He decided life was too hard for a young family in that turbulent place, so he wrote to his fiancée, Miriam Wasilsky, and told her, "Meet me in Brooklyn."
Our twin grandsons had a great-grandfather on their father's side, Franz Frank, who fled Germany and the Nazis in the 1930s because he was part Jewish; he taught for many years at the University of Texas and became an ardent fan of Longhorn basketball teams. He met his wife, Thomasina Hill, an Englishwoman of uncommon wit and grit, on the boat coming to America. So in naming one child Claiborne Hill Hartman, our daughter and son-in-law covered a lot of history.
America can grow in greatness only if it continues to welcome new infusions of talent, like Steve's grandfathers, and like the grandfather of Amanda Meiling Woo and the father of Carol Rae Bradford, who recharge our national batteries and refresh our national spirit.
Today, with war looming in Iraq, we should remember that many of the soldiers defending this country are newcomers to America, soldiers like Hilda Hernandez-Lara, an immigrant from Mexico and single mother of a 5-year-old son. After a six-month deployment on an aircraft carrier during the Afghan fighting, the Marine supply officer was home only a few weeks before she received new orders: a year-long assignment on the Japanese island of Okinawa without her child [Great sense of priorities, mom] She was upset at the news, but she wasn't ready to quit. "It's my job," she told us.
You don't have to be a Brewster or a Claiborne to understand the history of this country and why we give thanks this week. Hilda Hernandez-Lara knows why. Amanda Meiling Woo and Carol Rae Bradford know.** And little Akili McMackin will know, too, someday. He'll know that a boy with his heritage, combining both English Pilgrims and African slaves, embodies the true spirit of America. ** [Damn, I guess some boring WASP/German like me is just sooo un-American. All I can say is, "My God!." They really manage to pack it all in, don't they? What bilge. What a tragedy that the American people, the White majority, or what remains of it anyway, is letting this take place. Aliens and their fellow travelers dance a jig beside our dying national body, often stepping all over it, and with our dying breaths we praise them for their talent and cheer them on just to show onlookers that we were hip and progressive and enlightened, because we wouldn't want to be caught dead being called "racists." Of course, I'm using the pronoun "we" in the general sense to refer to White Americans, not the awakened ones here at OD.

That nasally-voiced race traitor hag Cokie and her hideously ugly, gap-toothed jew hubby Roberts......how I loathe them. Note that "conservative" bullsh-t artist Peggy Noonan had a hand in that abomination. The sooner their kind are the guests of honor at a "Lubyanka Breakfast", the better.
One small consolation: the fact that bastids still feel the need to keep hammering the lemmings with their lies about Wondrous Diversity means that they're not confident that those lies have taken deep root.

This article is one for the Time Capsule! I've never heard of any nation celebrating the destruction of her basic stock and calling it "enrichment". I honestly think this is unique in history. I'd like to be proved wrong, and I'd like more people to get peeved, but right now I'm just amazed.

Time capsule indeed. A Chinese archaeological team will come across it a couple hundred years from now and wonder what substances were affecting the brains of the continent's white inhabitants that made them the willing accomplices in their own murder. Maybe they'll develop the equivalent of the "lead drinking water pipes" theory applied to ancient Rome. Perhaps they'll conclude not enough Americans were on the Atkins diet.

You must be reminded a great reason that Jews like Roberts support immigration, women in the military and foul smelling Middle Eastern types is that they picture these peoples relieving them of the great responsibilities of citizenship in a republic. Gutless Jews like Roberts have no intention of bearing any load of honorable people who expose themselves to danger or do the needed work in any society with civilized values. If I remember the Lubyanka procedure correctly, inmates were summoned very late at night or very, very early in the morning. A breakfast was not required.

A better title for this story would have been "Report from the Cesspool".

The fact that the parasites have to keep up their "Diversity is our Strength" mantra gives one hope that the sheeple may yet be able to recognise the truth if they would only turn off the one-eyed brainwasher and make a half hearted attempt to use their heads for something besides a hatrack.

In that case, let Cokie 'n' Steve forevermore sign their work "ROGOWSKY". What finally killed America was the gullibility of people who listened to the reasonable-sounding tikkunisms of people named "Roberts" and "Johnson" and "Smith" - who really weren't. For how could we have known? America may have been founded by the Puritans, but it was also built by Euro immigrants with odd-looking-and-sounding foreign names - from Poland, Germany, Italy, Hungary - who would never have countenanced doing the Name Change Mambo. That sort of deceptive camouflage is alien to us and bred-in-the-bone to them.
Is that what "the bravest, strongest, most ambitious pioneers from other lands and cultures" do? Pretend to be just like you - then, once they have what they want, spit on "just like you" as xenophobic racism in order to promote anyone and anything so long as it is NOTHING "like you"?
Well, maybe the most ambitious.

That magazine cover and it's companion article were the most disgusting lot of bilge I have seen in a very long time. I promptly canceled my newspaper subscription and told the representative why. I hope others saw it and reacted the same way. It may help open a few eyes, though I doubt it. The american populace is too stupid.

About those who think that VDARE is a hate site, it would at least be encouraging if they *actually engaged in thought processes* themselves to come to that conclusion. Sadly, it seems they "think" it's a hate site because someone (with an anti-Western agenda) told them so. They never question it when someone labels something "racist," and they sure as hell never question the validity of the racism label itself, they just accept it at face value and react accordingly.

This brings my banning from Free Republic to mind. Right to the very end (May 2001) I posted anything and everything I thought relevant regarding the Jewish question. No self-censorship.
What triggered my dismissal, instead, was an exercise to engage Freepers in precisely the type of "thought processes" you mention. I did OK in a thread regarding "racist" flyers distributed by the NA in New England somewhere. I pointed out that the local newspaper account the "anti-racist" Freepers were relying on did not quote the flyer at all; instead, the newspaper characterized the flyer as racist, and the Freeper dimwits accepted that characterization as the Gospel truth, despite their universal belief that the media are "liberal". Things did not go so well when I asked what, exactly, David Duke advocated that justified his pariah status. Oneparticularharbour's small brain couldn't handle the cognitive dissonance, and he had me purged.
Very sad.

This stuff is really getting hysterical.
I suspect that we're witnessing a weird psychological Jewish thing. At some semi-conscious level, they suspect that they're going to need to abandon their unproductive Racial Coalition Partners and cut a deal with whites soon in order to finance the looming War on Israel's enemies, but they're not ready consciously to confront that terrible fact yet. They're still in total denial about that. The very thought of embracing the (non-existent) hoards of white trailer park trash of their fevered imaginings is so repulsive to them that they overcompensate by resorting to the familiar. They're compelled to do what they've done the past 50 years ever more frenetically - pump out the PeeCee culture destruction of white Christian civilization and hope for the best.
I predict that, provided this war with the world's 1.3 billion muslims happens, that they'll do a one-eighty and start spouting the new Gospel of Racial Differences. Richard Hernstein will be their new Marx, Charles Murray their new Trotsky. Things will actually get much uglier than even a political Neanderthal like myself would prefer.

This is just one more case of an old american groups being taken over by cultural marxist, who destoyed it. The leadership chose to go and hunt down non-white to fill it's ranks. I read an article on how Yale's "Order of the skull and bones" is now mainly Jewish and non-white and that a WASP does not have much chance of becoming a member. Remember even the SCV has tried and failed( God be praised!) to fill it's ranks with "Black Confederates." Old stock Americans are in need of new groups to protect thier Culture.
