Has anyone else seen this before?
It does lend creedence to my theory that right-wing Jews are increasingly weighing in on the anti-immigration debate as immigrant groups hostile to Jews (Hispanics and Arabs/Muslims) gain in prominence.

As the issue of immigration surfaces in Iowa, it is not surprising that so does the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). My organization, Voice of Citizens Together (VCT - d.b.a. American Patrol), has been labeled a "hate group" by SPLC.
A few words on my background. For ten years I struggled with American Indians to help them secure the rights and abilities to develop their own energy resources. I was V.P., General Manager of Arrowstar, Inc., an Indian-owned seismic exploration company that successfully trained hundreds of American Indians in seismic data acquisition, while at the same time discovering oil on reservations. During this time I revealed a disturbing pattern of discrimination against Indians at ARCO, which they quickly corrected. (A check with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Billings, Montana will confirm my statement.)
I co-founded VCT with Shirley Lertzman, a Jewish woman who was just completing her final term on the Los Angeles County Grand Jury, after serving seventeen years in that position. She and her husband, Dr. Lertzman, are now retired in Las Vegas, and we are still friends. Does it seem reasonable that a high-profile Jewish woman would get tied up with a Nazi? Hardly.
We have so many Jewish supporters some said we were a Jewish front organization. But with so many Black and Hispanic Christians in our midst, such a claim doesn't stick. Would it seem possible that leading Jewish leaders such as Irv Rubin, head of the Jewish Defense League (of which I am a member), support a hate group for so many years? Hardly.
SPLC's Web site say we are hate group in part because our video, Immigration: Threatening the Bonds of Our Union, points to the role of Mexican gangs in bringing methamphetamines to Iowa.
On May 13, the New York Times reported: "It's been growing tremendously in the last five or six years," said Joe Keefe, chief of operations at the drug agency. 'In 1996, we looked at methamphetamine trafficking by the Mexican nationals and had 60 investigations. In the last couple of months, we had over 800.' The organizations have also expanded their marketing all over the country, he said, such that methamphetamine produced in California can be bought on the street in Portland, Me." Our video shows Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) accusing Mexican gangs of being behind the methamphetamine curse in America.
In my judgment the only hate group involved in this dispute is the SPLC - they hate the truth.
America needs the truth today as never before. Caving in to to name callers like the SPLC will deprive us of the kind of open debate that is vital to our future as a nation.

I'm not an expert on America's Patrol, but it doesn't surprise me. Jews by their drive seem to dominate an awful lot of political groups, even those that seem rather contrary to traditional ADL objectives. Antiwar.com by all accounts has a very strong Jewish presence, as do well known anti-immigration individuals Dan Stein of FAIR, Norm Matloff, and others. So Glenn Spencer shouldn't really surprise anyone.

VCT is odd case, the group seen to have many types of people within the organization. I do note AmericanPatrol.com has put the articles by Jared Taylor ("The Myth of Diversity"), Sam Francis, Peter Brimelow, and oddly they put articles by William Pierce and Louis Beam on thier site a few times! Glenn Spencer is always very PC on the radio but some very un-PC stuff has made it on AmericanPatrol.com I think VCT is mixed bag the group at time comes very close to just the kind of Ethnic Nationism we need, fall back before going all the way.

If he's a JDL member, who's to say where American Patrol's financing comes from, or where donations to American Patrol end up?
What happens the next time some delivery truck like that one in Washington State a few months ago turns up with explosives and Israelis illegally in the country?

I was not defending or attacking VCT, I was giving my thoughts on the matter. I did think it odd that they put William Pierce and Louis Beam articles on the front page of AmericanPatrol.com. It is very upsetting to see VCT any relationship with the JDL.
Did not JDL at one time sell a book on how the Mexicans overrunning American and destrying the WASPs was part of the "end times" and a sign the Messiah was about to come. The old Civilwartwo.com site talked about this book as I remember?

I do not think Glenn Spencer is an JDL member or he is given money to them, but it is very upsetting to see VCT have any relationship with such group.

I am sorry Centinel. I was misreading the text. I have not been getting much sleep lately. It is getting rather late too.

I will see if I can find anything about book, I read the article once a few years ago and do not recall much about it.

In May of 2000, JDL member Glenn Spencer along with Arizona rancher Roger Barnett, sent out invitations to anti-immigrant groups across the USA to come to Arizona for some "Fun in the Sun" and hunt down Mexicans crossing the border. The "flyer" offered a free stay on a ranch to anyone willing to drive down to the Arizona/Mexico border in their cars, trucks or RV's. As a consequence of this action, many Mexican immigrant workers lost their lives or were injured. The group of vigilantes boasted to the US media of illegally arresting hundreds of Mexican immigrant workers. Rancher Roger Barnett, sporting a military assault rifle with a hunting scope, told USA Today Magazine that he was "prepared to kill Mexicans" if he had to.
On the morning of May 12, 2000, two Arizona ranchers on horseback and armed with high power hunting rifles shot and critically wounded an undocumented Mexican worker attempting to cross the border near Sasabe, Arizona. Four other young men accompanying 20 year old Miguel Angel Palofox Aguerrin of Guasave, Sinaloa were also shot at by the vigilantes. Miguel and four of his companions came under lethal attack by two Anglos on horseback porting sidearms and high power hunting rifles. Miguel Angel Palofox Aguerrin stated that his group was suddenly ambushed by the two vigilantes on horseback. He was shot on the face. The bullet tore through his neck and exited through his ear.
On Saturday May 13, 2000, JDL member Glenn Spencer, vigilante Roger Barnett and a group of anti-immigrant terrorists met at the Windemere Hotel in Sierra Vista, Arizona to discuss strategies that would deter Mexicans from crossing the border to work. One proposal that was made public was the placement of "military land mines" along pathways used by the immigrants. The threat had the effect of forcing the immigrants to take more dangerous routes across the arid and hot desert regions of Arizona. This caused the death from thirst of a great number of immigrant workers, including the death of a young mother. The 19 year old mother gave all her water to her months old baby daughter. Her dead body was found shielding her still alive baby from the hot sun.
Today Jewish Defense League member Glenn Spencer is again plotting yet another of his hare brain schemes designed to terrorize Mexican immigrants at the US/Mexico border region. He is apparently organizing his own private American Border Patrol (ABP). He says that he has received funding from private sources to set up a high technology border monitoring system that will utilize private airplanes, vigilante ranchers with radio transmitters, global positioning satellites, the Internet and Webcams. The entire system will be managed by him personally from a large RV set up somewhere in Cochise County, Arizona.
It is still unknown who may be funding this so called "High Tech" vigilante project, but judging from who Spencer's principal supporters are, the answer may shock some non-believers. In a letter, attached below, to the then Program Manager of KIEV 870 AM Radio, Earl Trout, Spencer makes some startling revelations. In his complaint about being kicked off the air, he says, "Our organization was co-founded by a Jew. I am a member of the Jewish Defense League. Both of my sons-in-law are Jewish." This letter was written by Glenn Spencer prior to the WTC and Pentagon terrorist attacks and prior to Irv Rubin, Chairman of the JDL, being arrested by federal authorities for attempting to bomb a Los Angeles mosque and the offices of Arab Congressman Daryl Issa. With the type of company Spencer keeps, it may be prudent to keep a close eye on his new activities in Arizona.

Dear Earl,
Last evening I told you I wanted to sleep on the problem we are dealing with before I gave you an answer regarding "Cable Radio." I have done just that.
This morning I awoke to the realization that KIEV and Salem broadcasting are kicking me off the air while at the same feeding inside information to Raoul Lowrey Contreras, a talk show host on your affiliate in San Diego. Raoul Lowrey Contreras is anti-Semitic. You know this because I gave you absolute proof of this fact.
Our organization was co-founded by a Jew. I am a member of the Jewish Defense League. Both of my sons-in-law are Jewish.
You have said that I am being taken off the air by KIEV because of pressure brought on your organization by the Autry Museum and Midas Muffler, not because of anything I have done or said. The idea that I would be barred from your radio station, even though I am paying for the air time, while at the same time you allow Raoul Lowrey Contreras to send his anti-Semitic, anti-American message over the airways is too much.
The only acceptable avenue for the future is for KIEV to allow me to continue with my weekly broadcast as if nothing happened. I will deal with Raoul Lowrey Contreras in my own way.
I expect to hear by 11 am today that KIEV will allow me to go on the air on Sunday as per our original agreement.

Curiously, at no point anywhere does Spencer assert or deny being Jewish himself; he phrases all his remarks to present the appearance of a Gentile making common cause with Zionism.
Gosh, I remember when the commonly swallowed excuse for the Name Changing People was so that Jews in show business could sidestep the bloodthirsty Polish villagers that they see all gentile America as. Sounds better than 'infiltration strategy', don't it? Notice how fast your average media Jew is to out anyone of Arab ethnicity who seeks a voice in either Middle East affairs or the coming War For Eretz Yisroel. Publishing noted Arabs' actual birth names is a special favorite tactic.
As for me, I had a hint of this in the third grade when one of the kids in class mentioned being Jewish, to my stunned surprise. No, it wasn't because I was a li'l brownshirt; it was because his name was "Smith". Later, in the sixth grade, I topped even that one by ending up with a Jewish teacher named "Johnson"! Why in the world would a NYC public-school teacher feel compelled to cling to a stealth-identity like "Johnson", I wonder. Maybe he had a demo tape he was shopping around.

Here's my take on the Jewish Question as it pertains to us and immigration.
Consider two possible worlds.
The world we currently live in where we have to contend with high levels of immigrants and the problem of Jews in high levels of power.
vs.
A world were immigration is (more or less) brought under control thanks to those groups like VCT, etc. but where we still have to deal with the problem of Jews in high levels of power.
Personally, I'd take the second. I cannot see how it would be worse than what we have today. Let the Jews help if they want. As long as we don't lose sight of the goal, their turn will come in time.
Some might argue that once Jews are let in then they will highjack the agenda and turn it to their own ends. But are we really so fearful? Is it better to have no organization at all then to have one and be afraid of Jewish power? Some ask, what if we lose control? Well, what if we don't?! I'm not going to chop down every tree I see for fear that it may one day be used to hang me. We can be stronger than that. A gnat-sting in terms of ceasing the actual flow of illegals; and
A black mamba bite in terms of handing our ideological foes a gilt-edged opportunity to portray the anti-immigration movement, and its positions, as a matter of yahoos hunting humans for sport.

Almost makes you wonder if Spencer is merely provocateuring with his over-the-top rhetoric. Aside from helping Prop 187 get passed in California, I can't think of anything that VCT/American Patrol has actually accomplished other than making a lot of noise and providing a stereotypical caricature for Donahue, the ADL and SPLC to hold up as an example of the kind of "hate group" they depend upon for their survival.
Personally, I think Spencer is sincere, but the JDL connection and the Zionist influence it attracts is something to be suspicious of. If you had $100 burning a hole in your pocket that you wanted to donate to an immigration-control group, I think FAIR or the American Policy Center would be saner and more productive choices.

I always imagined it would be fun to create a storefront faux-ADL organization, invite all the Zionists in, and then divert the incoming donations to the National Alliance, C of CC, etc. Instead of diverting our money to Zionist causes, wouldn't it be fun to turn the tables?

This was my point as well. Use their help has far as we can and no further. Kind of like the US and USSR in WWII, united (as it were) for one purpose only (but never fully trusted) and once that purpose was accomplished the relationship (again, such that it was) was broken off.

Two "America First" Jews that I can think of, alive today:
Alan Stang (former JBS senior writer; now writing for EtherZone.com)
Samuel L. Blumenfeld (author of the anti-NEA expose, "Why Johnny Can't Read").
Both are solid patriots; both are opposed to Foreign Aid (including to Israel; Stang is vocal on this point).
But, yeah...there's a dearth of truly Americanist Jews.
