Even some Republicans had criticized Tancredo, who clashed with the White House over immigration and also drew fire after asking federal officials to investigate the family of an illegal immigrant featured in a newspaper article.
"The party should look at this and say, 'If you stand for something and stand for principles . . . you don't have to be afraid,' " Tancredo said. "If I won by 50 percent and one vote, I'd be speaking my mind. I'm hoping my colleagues in Congress will look at this and see you can take chances and they will not punish you."
Tancredo joked that journalists were "part of the campaign," since their negative stories didn't hurt his re-election chances.
You just know Tancredo's jewsmedia enemies (and his Republican ones) are enraged, especially after doing everything in their power to smear him as a "controversial, polarizing" hypocrite.
Smoulder, dirtbags, smoulder....
A potentially interesting development: I read that new Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott said on loudmouth O'Reilly's radio show that he supported putting troops on the border. Maybe even that cautious hack saw that Tancredo's hard-line stance on the Wetback Invasion was responsible for his wild success and was able to put 2 & 2 together.
If it's more than hot air, we could be seeing the beginning of real progress.

I don't actually think the Jews mind Tancredo all that much. Many of them are scared to death about radical black and chicano nationalists who have adopted a bitterly anti-Jewish stance lately. Sites Like La Voz de Aztlan

have the ADL all worked up these days.
Additionally, most Hispanics are Catholic and don't buy into the dispensationalist view of Israel. Plus, the three largest areas of Jewish concentration--New York, South Florida, and Southern California--all have large Hispanic populations that resent Jewish economic clout.
The right-wing Jews love Tancredo. They recongize radical left-wing multiculturalism as a threat because the blacks and Mexicans are pointing the finger at the Jews for their problems.
And don't forget that while Tancredo might not be the darling of GOP types wanting immigration for cheap labor, he did vote for war with Iraq after all. His foreign policy is pro-Israel all the way.

Not very long, in fact I believe they already have changed their tune. Just look at WorldNetDaily and NewsMax as barometers of prevailing neocon thought.
Aside from Mexican immigration, relaxed immigration rules make it easier for Arabs and Muslims to enter the US. The last thing the neocons want is more American Muslims who eventually will have a say in the political process here.
Currently, paleocons and neocons seem to agree on the immigration issue. Paleocons because they want to preserve Western culture, and neocons because they oppose immigrant groups who are hostile to Jews--though they'll never couch it in those words.

I do not think they will ever do such, they may fake being anti-immigration sometimes, but the end they will never do it for real.
Take the case of the Neocon Poe. He now claims to be a Paleoconservative. He has already endosed the genocide of European Americans. He is a pro-miscegenation, multiracialist, American-hating, Leftist.
