That is a pathetic number and Mr. Giles should be embarrassed.

This only shows that American voters live in a Democrat-Republican world. I suspect that because of the lack of Media attention Giles has received, Giles wouldn't garner that many votes. Then again, had Giles received Media attention, he would labelled "anti-Semite" and that alone would scare the lemmings crapless. Still, it only shows that Americans would never dare express criticism of Israel or openly support the Confederate flag. This doesn't surprise me in the least. Nothing can be done to make the lemmings think.

Well, Robbie, I'm not so sure they won't support the Confed Flag. Roy Barnes got booted in Georgia and he was pretty conservative as a DEM. However, he made the mistake on the flag and it cost him.

You are right, tho: we live in a GOP/DEM world. Nothing is going to change that. And that's why I didn't vote yesterday for the 1st time in my eligible life.

If Giles was a decent man for the job then the fact that he got such low support tells us some things about how well our politics is being received. From what I recall most of what he stood for I stood for. It could be that the target voters did not know enough about him. If so this indicates that far too many people are still relying on the newspapers, and TV for information. As long as this is the case then things will stay as they are.

Or it could be that they did know about him. If so they either did not vote for him because he was 'too extreme' or because they figured that voting for the lessor of two evils is better. In either case people have not wised up to our circumstances. And if this is how they react given a candidate who actually stands for what they say they believe, then hopes of taking things back by election are still rather dim.

A couple weeks ago, I told a GOP hack that I couldn't vote for the GOP because they were too liberal. She tried the lesser of two evils argument, but then things went in a surprising direction: she told me I should run for office. I might give it a try. Countersubversion of the GOP? Could be worth a try.

Jim Giles may be many things, but he did show courage. I doubt if many members of this forum would have undergone the trial he did. I only ask that he try again and be much harsher on Jews the next time.

Yeah, well, the bottom line is Jim Giles, who railed against Yankees and Jews, couldn't scare up 1400 votes in Missisippi. His campaign was a crashing failure in any practical terms. The blue guy did better!

I didn't figure on Giles being the paleo Moses to lead us out of the desert anyway. Maybe, as Amundsen says, the locals in Miss know something the rest of us don't.

Jay, I didn't vote, either. Considering that I live in the People's Republic Of New Jersey, there's no point in me voting for anyone.

I hope the Southerners make their voices heard more now with the flag issue. The NAACP is the enemy, as are their gutless White spokesmen.

Jim Giles has added a new section to his political action website: "Protracted Political Warfare" He is looking for individuals who are willing to run as candidates for local political offices. There's no shortage of voters, there's a shortage of candidates. http://www.rebelarmy.com/

One could certainly stir the pot by campaigning on a platform dedicated to stopping property-tax increases casued by mass immigration.

That's the bottom line. Anyone believing anything can get elected in America, but you have to do it as a Democrat or Republican. Its sort of like what we'll eat, it can be anything as long as we put it between two pieces of bread. In politics, those pieces of bread are labeled "Democrat" or "Republican". That's just the way things are.

That's what David Duke did after all. Go for it MW! :D
