I don't know about you but I am more worried about the nuclear missiles from the state of Israel reaching the US, remember what that college professor said one time?......." We can reach any part of the world that we want with our nuclear missiles"......thanks to the missiles from the US and the subs from Germany. =======================++++++++=========================

Rome within Iran missile range: Israeli FM TEL AVIV, Israel, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Rome is within range of Iran's nuclear-capable missiles, Israel's foreign minister has warned.

Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom gave the warning Tuesday to his visiting Italian opposite number, Foreign Minister Gianfranco Fini, during a discussion on the Iranian nuclear crisis, the Tel Aviv newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported on its ynet.com Web site.

Fini told a press conference following their meeting that should Iran acquire nuclear weapons, it would severely threaten not only Israel but the entire international community. He said the United Nations Security Council must deal with the Iranian matter as soon as possible.

Fini told Shalom that the Italian government of Silvio Berlusconi saw the Iranian nuclear threat eye to eye with Israel, ynet.com said. He also told Shalom that he intended to participate Thursday in a mass protest demonstration opposite the Iranian Embassy in Rome, initiated by the Italian newspaper Il Foglio.

When asked about the possibility of military action against Iran, Shalom said Israel would do all that it can in order to stop Iran's nuclear program, but only diplomatically. He added that Israel was part of the international community and that the world was more firm than ever in stopping extremists, ynet.com said

I may be wary of Israel, but I'm not going to be blinded to the fact that Iran's nuclear capability is more of a direct threat to us. Not from ICBMs (which are probably way behind China's in terms of number and accuracy) but from container weapons. The civilized world considers nukes a political weapon, Hisbollah might consider them simply IED 'upgrades'.

Iran needs to get the point. Forswear 1st use and no arming terrorists or they need to go to MOAB. I wouldn't give a crap if they develop nukes as a MAD strategy with Israel. But they need to smarten up. The Paks already have them, and they are 1 bullet away from being the most heavily armed nation of crazies on the planet. In Iran, the crazies already run the asylum. Pak is India's problem. (and even China's) A belligerent, nuclear-tipped Iran would be the world economy's.

Hmmm. I guess the projected advances in TBM's and boosters has arrived in Teheran? I worked on a TBM project for NATO back in the 90's, at a time when Iraq and Iran had 4-600km missiles that could be weaponized with nuke tips. The projection was a 5-10 year time horizon for longer range TBM's.

Either this is a smokescreen, or the Tae Po Dong missile, Teheran Version, has been successfully tested and deployed in Iran. Or organic, or Indian, or Russian rockets have been acquired, built under license, etc.

It has been a few years since I looked at TBM's. On the last part, what is this threat? Another F-16 raid, this time into Iran, to blow up a nuke plant?
