I'll believe it when I see it.
washtimes House Republicans are looking closely at ending birthright citizenship and building a barrier along the entire U.S.-Mexico border as they search for solutions to illegal immigration.

Me too. People like Rep. Drier are always trying to appear tough enough on illegal immigration to fool their constituents into voting for them again and again, so this looks like one of those times when they take some outlandish idea that has no chance of coming to fruition and acting like they think it is the best thing. Could see some flying pigs over that new border fence.

But, even the mention of it for political purposes is a good thing! It proves that the GOP really does know the score - and also, they realize that if the electorate is still receptive to restrictions on immigration and all the associated nonsense, that they'll do at least LESS damage than the libs would.
I never buy into the "lesser of two evils" argument - but once the electorate stops caring about immigration, the issue won't even be brought up by pols. The fact that it still is, shows our people aren't totally brain dead.
