Would Bush's war with Iraq violate the original intent of the Constitution's framers? Joseph Rosenbloom

The plaintiffs in John Doe v. El Presidente George W. Bush had their day in court -- actually, 50 minutes ... That's how long oral argument lasted in U.S. District Court in Boston in a case that raised the question of whether Congress must formally declare war before Bush can lawfully attack Iraq. ... Unconstitutional because only Congress has the power to declare war. Congress voted to give Bush the power to use force if necessary, but no declaration of war was issued and neither was there a viable threat to the security of the United States. It was all based on a pack of lies....which must be unconstitutional somewhere in that document.

The Iraq War is one of the most criminal acts the US government ever perpetrated. Maybe even the worst of all time followed closely by the Kennedy assassination.

I'd say Iraq doesn't even come close to the criminal act of Ape Lincoln's Rape of Dixie...

The problem is the Congress had every opportunity to hold up a stop sign, and refuse to declare war. What it did instead was to "authorize force" which is a cheesy loophole vis a vis Consitutional structures, see also Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.
