A reader asks Hoffman: "As an appreciative co-conspiratorialist who admires your work, I am curious to know what you make of the Libby-Plame-Niger affair. Is it merely a distraction staged by the puppet masters, or has a decision been made at deeper, darker levels, to cancel the Neocon sitcom?"

Hoffman replies: The Cryptocracy's Scooter Libby Gambit

by Michael A. Hoffman II

Certainly there is rivalry within the Cryptocracy, reflecting different tactics in the march toward the same goals. The Scowcroft/James Baker/Bush Sr./Carlyle Group fronts for the east-coast, ivy league old money approach which is to soothe the Arabs with a velvet glove. They fear the wilder elements within Bush Jr.'s circle: the Protestant fundamentalists and Likud/Shas Israeli extremists, though Sharon showed he can play a clever game of chess when he needs to (i.e. the hugely successful PR campaign that was the Gaza "withdrawal").

Iraq is a great geo-political prize and not entirely the disaster from the Cryptocracy's point of view that some Leftists would have us believe. To have captured the once-and-future Babylon's 33-degree line and control it through a proxy "Iraqi" government is certainly a momentous step toward the rebuilding of the Temple at Jerusalem.

Thus far, the Libby prosecution would seem to be a case of some minor fine-tuning and some of this is PR for Arab/Muslim consumption, to show that the US is not "the Great Satan" but rather, that it arrests even someone as close to the throne as Scooter Libby. Of course if the Arabs forget that Bush Jr. knew of the 9/11 terror attacks in advance, then they can swallow this contrived benevolence scam; otherwise they will see it as the pawn gambit that it is.

Patrick Fitzgerald is the Federal prosecutor who viciously and unconstitutionally railroaded the blind Egyptian cleric Abdel Rahman into a life-in-prison sentence for the first world trade center bombing, which was engineered by the FBI itself (their own agent supplied the bomb). All Rahman did was give speeches attacking the west. Fitzgerald sent him to prison on what amounts to a sedition charge--jailed for the contents of his speech--the tool of John Adams, Franklin Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan (all three encouraged sedition trials on their watch--Adams of the quondam white slave Matthew Lyon [see my book, They Were White and They Were Slaves]; Roosevelt of peaceniks and dissenters against the "good war"; and Reagan of white separatists at Ft. Smith, Arkansas). Fitzgerald is definitely part of the Brotherhood and doing their bidding.

Libby and Cheney accomplished their mission and perhaps it is time to put them out to pasture with Libby the sacrificial lamb. But not too sacrificial: how much did Admiral John Poindexter suffer after being made to carry the ball for Iran Contra? As you know, after his conviction he was pardoned and landed on his feet at the Geo. W. Bush Pentagon as head of the all-seeing National Treasure, DARPA. Libby could lead the same charmed existence in a future administration. There is no "pension" crisis within the Cryptocracy.

The Cryptocracy has no inviolable attachment to either political party. It always uses both its Kabbalah pillars (Republican and Democrat) to build the Great Architect's empire, so the Libby prosecution may be the beginning of a cooling phase in which the brutal U.S. occupation of Iraq is given a humanitarian image in a Democrat-controlled administration.

The main thing is to keep the American people and Third Wordlings believing in the US government, and Republicans are having difficulty accomplishing that right now, save for the farthest out denizens of the Rush Limbaugh/Chuck Missler universe.
