Bush said he reluctantly accepted her decision to withdraw, after weeks of insisting that he did not want her to step down. He blamed her withdrawal on calls in the Senate for the release of internal White House documents that the administration has insisted were protected by executive privilege. The televitz is reporting that President Clouseau's Supreme Court nominee, Harriet Miers, has withdrawn herself from said nomination.

1) Load Revolver 2) Fire 6 shots as fast as you can. 3) Remember to take revolver out of holster. 4) Bandage foot.

Sen (hiccup) Kennedy was just on the boob-tube, crowing about how he thinks Miers would have gotten a fair hearing and the "extreme right wing" is responsible for pushing this issue.
