How many monuments are on the Mall now? The aesthetics of the place are ruined. (I mean, of course, besides the smells of human waste from the bordering hedges, the clothes the bums hang up to dry after washing them in the reflecting pool, the Krishnas dancing and drumming, and the schizos yelling to themselves.) These days, I'm also told there are concrete barriers and cops armed to the upper teeth all over the place.
What an asylum.
