Among the changes was the recent hiring of Greg Vincent, the new vice provost for inclusion and cross-cultural understanding, whoââ¬â¢s working to attract minority students and professors.
Well, shucks, why didnt we think of this before ? How rude of us not to make the place more inviting for the homos, negros, arabs, orientals, jews, on and on and on. Oh ya, and dont forget the special need this university has for the militant, female negro, communist to head the various multicultural programs. I wonder if Whoopie Goldberg would be available for such a position ?
ââ¬ÅWhat does that say to your African-American students?ââ¬Â Watkins said. ââ¬ÅThese men fought to make sure I would not be a student at this university, that I would remain a slave.ââ¬Â
Who gives a rat's ass? It should mean as much to you as a statue up North to Gen. Sherman means to me. Get over it or find another school.

AUSTIN, Texasââ¬âItââ¬â¢s the little things that make Brandelyn Franks feel uncomfortable at the University of Texas at Austin.
Things like walking into a class of 400 students and having the only black face.
This is what gets me. When I walk on to the D train, I'm the only white face. Anyone got a subway conductor of inclusion for me?
