Maybe this is just sour grapes on my part....after all, it is widely presumed in the media that, if you're white, you're either a corporation executive or the heir to a fabulous empire..... but we are (alas) living in a Golden Age For Negroes And Other Human Jetsam. (Remember that last year, an out-and-out Chinese illegal alien won a $75 million dollar lottery, with not a peep of protest uttered.... except by 'racists', naturally.)

I mean, forget about the 2 mill windfall this fellow just scooped up....for some odd reason, when educated, 'downsized' whites are working the third shift at Wal-Mart to keep food on the table (because their companies have outsourced their jobs to India and China and Malaysia), a green-card Kenyan manages to get a sensitive gummint job AND a carry permit while awaiting his citizenship. (I'm willing to bet he didn't have to go into his pocket "to attend college in Minnesota", either.)
"It's almost like you adopted a country and then they netted you $1.8 million,'' Bittok said Monday as he cashed in his ticket.
The rest of us - native born, and of accursed lighter pigmentation - well, besides the privilege of paying taxes, of course, we've 'netted' about a hundred thousand lectures on racism and white skin privilege, delivered by finger-pointing Jews in a hectoring tone, during this same Golden Age....while our kids are encouraged to despise their white skin, dress like pimps and/or whores, embrace homosexuality, and respond to attacks with thank you, sir; may I have another?

Is it any wonder so many Arabs are willing to strap explosives to their bodies to resist this kind of "freedom"?
Man Takes Citizenship Oath, Wins Lottery 'Only in America', Owner of $1.89 Million Winning Ticket, Says

DES MOINES, Iowa (Sept. 27) - A man who immigrated from Kenya to the United States found prosperity beyond his expectations on the day he became a U.S. citizen.

Shortly after Moses Bittok, of West Des Moines, took the oath of citizenship on Friday, he discovered he had a $1.89 million winning ticket from the Iowa Lottery's Hot Lotto game.

"It's almost like you adopted a country and then they netted you $1.8 million,'' Bittok said Monday as he cashed in his ticket. "It doesn't happen anywhere - I guess only in America.''

Bittok said he took the citizenship oath at the federal building in Des Moines Friday then went shopping with his family. They stopped at a gas station to check his lottery ticket from the Sept. 21 drawing.

"For some reason, I'm calm,'' he said. His wife, Leonida, screamed.

Bittok, 40, an officer at the Iowa Correctional Institute for Women in Mitchellville, said he doesn't know exactly what he will do with his winnings, but a college fund for the couples 4-year-old daughter, Mindy, is top priority.

Bittok chose to receive his winnings in 25 annual payments of about $52,920 after taxes.

He came to the U.S. to attend college in Minnesota, then moved to Iowa to take the job at the women's prison.

He had purchased the winning ticket at a West Des Moines grocery store, where he once worked part time.

Hot Lotto tickets are sold in Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, South Dakota and West Virginia.
...Bittok chose to receive his winnings in 25 annual payments of about $52,920 after taxes. ...
Damn, looking at it that way it's not that much, he'll just be getting by. That is, if he and his wife decides not to work.

He may have to start working, inflation will eat into that fixed pay pretty soon.

I'd rather look at this story at a different angle: darkies win this lottery all the time when they get freebies that you and I pay for. And yes, over the course of a quarter of century, we are talking a million per boolie family, probably.

African immigrants in Iowa?? Now it must be obvious to even the dim-wits at FR that this country is over, done, stick-a-fork-in-it.

obvious to even the dim-wits at FR

It literally takes a sledge hammer to get through their thick skulls.

Almost makes me cheerful to read... at least I'm not like that anymore.
African immigrants in Iowa??
I can never find anything in the archives here, but I distinctly remember a coupla-years-old thread where the mayor of Des Moines was quoted as exhorting his city council to hurry up and bring in more immigrants of color tout suite....because Iowa was in danger of falling behind the rest of the country in "diversity".

It was among the craziest things I'd ever read at the time (having since been left in the dust a few dozen times by even crazier news items, natch!) but I recall pondering two thoughts at the time. One was whether or not there was some new Clinton-era policy wrinkle that favorably redistributed Fed money back to the states based on a non-white head count (since, usually, an influx of many thousand Third World immigrants into any more or less bucolic area was an overnight social-services budget-buster); the other was a renewed disgust at politicians who were determined to Do Something and Bring About Change (so they might Leave Behind a Legacy, of course) ....the logical outcome of a half-century of Frankfurt school-influenced propaganda taught to kids in American History and Social Studies classes deriding 'caretaker' Presidents and politicians as do-nothing buffoons.

If we'd only had more Caretakers, and less Legacies, we might not be perched on the precipice of the abyss today.
