kind of early yet, but looks headed for houston. oh those silly negros, they just thought they were escaping natures wrath. http://www.nola.com/hurricane/image.ssf?/hurricane/alerts/plot1.html

if this puppy picks up strength in the gulf, it could morph into much bigger storm. im no weather expert, but its said that when a storm moves over warmer water, it gains strength. please correct me if im wrong...

As a rule that is true. All other things being equal, hurricanes generally gain strength over warm water. Then again, by their nature, and our lack of understanding they can be quit unpredictable. Katrina, before it hit Florida was supposed to dwindle to nothing over that state if I remember correctly. Other storms (Allen from the 80's comes to mind) just stop pretty much die out before ever coming in. One thing is for sure with a 'cane, it ain't over till it's over.

Was checking the weather forecasts just a bit ago since I have friends in the gulf. She's expected to increase in strength after passing over the FL Keys and hit Catagory 3 and maybe 4. Current position and direction has the storm track "cone" hitting the Houston area of Texas currently, but if the high pressure ridge over the northeast moves out to sea the Hurricane will probably track north and east.

Looks Nasty.

You gotta imagine what is going through (or will shortly) the minds of those negros that evacuated from new orleans to houston. Now with news that a hurricane might hit the houston area, I bet there is negro talk about how Boosh is sending all these hurricanes to drown the black man.

If only W was that smart...no wait a second, never mind. :holiday:

We need some rain down here. That's for sure.

With any kind of massive flooding, I'm going for the Heinekens. Could use $2000 on a debit card, too.

:holiday:
Maybe some are getting the idea that The Almighty has it in for them. I predict a rash of new conversions and revivalist tent services among the displaced from the Ninth Ward.

Insha Allah, and all that, has turned into "Whitey Did It To Me . . ."

Especially since they stashed it all over NO and then had to evacuate empty handed. :D

Just think, Texas stadium already has a hole in the roof. The refugees will feel right at home. Seriously though the Mayor of NO said to evacuate again, guess whose holding out for more freebies?
