CNN is reporting large parts of LA is without power. Maybe the negros and/or mezicans will start looting (preferbly each other).

Maybe the effects of more and more White folks bailing out of the state is starting to take its toll on the economic infrastructure of the state....naaaw couldnt be ?

This is typical of a Third World country. Actually, I've heard that deregulation of the power industry in CA created the conditions for companies to outright gouge it's customers. Well with all the Mexicans in CA these days, they probably are used to living without electricity anyways....

I'll have to read about that. Supposedly CA has plenty of power now, so it must be a transmission network problem.

Here's the link to the CA grid website CAISO. You can see there's plenty of excess available today.

strange thing about the whole episode today was that the temperatures were mild (in the low 70's) and so the system wasnt stressed. the reporters were saying that there were 2 "transmission centers" that went down and nobody knows why...

Workers connected the wrong wires.

Notice it's "Workers" and not electricians, or qualified workers. I guess in Mexico the red wire gets connected to the blue wire before you connect to a ground.
