Has anyone else here seen this movie yet? I just saw it tonight. It's definitely one of the best horror movies I've seen. Unlike the original Exorcist movie, TEoER contains almost no gore, little to no profanity, and no obscene sexual incidents, yet it manages to be pretty darned freaky and gripping. I recommend it highly.

Those nightmare faces on the extras (like the couple holding the umbrella) in the commercials are a total mindf**k.

One of the things this movie does, whether you believe in demons or not, is make you feel a lot more sorry for people who have serious mental illnesses. There are people out there who see sh!t like that almost constantly because of schizophrenia or other psychoses. It must be exactly like living in a nightmare. Of course there are drugs that can make a huge difference, but still... :shocking:

I haven't seen it yet, but it is one of the first movies in quite a while that I actually want to see. Didn't the real person this story is based on die during the exorcism?

My guess is that she did die, just as in the movie. (That's not a spoiler, BTW: you find out about her death right at the beginning of the film.)
