Hey, what did Castro's gift to America do to get suspended?

I don't know, but I'm not complaining.
Hey, what did Castro's gift to America do to get suspended?
Probably just being stupid. Intersting thing is its just a temporary (5 day) ban, but while he's banned you can't search for his posts.

Probably Tex just wanted to forget about him for a while

Y'know what's really interesting? Gabrielle vanished around the same time Ponce did.

No wonder they've never been photographed together.....

Cheering on and thereby endorsing terrorist actions against our own U.S. troops and profane scatological references within a few posts of each other was just too much for me.

I've been displeased with the level of discourse on the board for some time now. I can't help but draw the conclusion that Ponce's 12 inane posts per day is a great contributor to this 'dumbing down' of the entire board.

It's good that Ponce is gone. His presence certainly discouraged me from full participation. It's hard to have an intelligent discussion when one of the most prolific participants posts one complete inanity after the next.

TexasAnarch is another drag on the entire board (TexasAnarch, you know it's true).

I checked out his own webpage, and it's clear that the man has mental problems.

He's generally been pretty well behaved, but some of his recent stuff is little more than the scribbling of one you'd find in a halfway house for ambulatory crazies. We'd be much better off without him.

I think Ponce is probably the most colorful and entertaining poster in this forum. I have never caught him in a lie and it is seldom that I disagree with him. Also, concerning Texas anarchist's assertion that Ponce is somehow giving aid and comfort to the "enemy" is something that I've never seen. If vehement disagreement with the lunacy of the "Iraqi war for jewish happiness" is somehow felonious, TA better brace him/herself for a lot more of it as the public is, more and more, rejecting chimp faces claims of potential doom if we don't oppress Iraq and keep israel happy. Also, I always thought that this was a conservative forum. Conservatives have a high regard for free speech and freedom of expression. It would appear that TA is a member of the Teddy Kennedy branch of the conservative movement.

Hey Opera there's two separate guys here named "Texas". Texas Dissident, who's the board owner; and Texas Anarch, a completely different fellow (in every sense of the word 'different').

TA used to post his crazy-man stuff here as...."Wombat", was it? I've never actually objected to him because not once have I ever understood what it was he was trying to say. I think he was the guy who coined "Cath-O-Jew", which sounds like one of those products introduced right after WW2 like "Rinso" and "Moxie". The idea that he has his own website is intriguing in a mnd-boggling sort of way, because that indicates we've only been getting the abridged version of his mystifying arcana. He sort of reminds me of George (anybody remember him?) after switching from ripple to magic mushrooms.

Ponce was indeed a trial at times, but after 2300-plus posts the guy was sort of like family. At least, like a crazy uncle who never lost his mangled-English accent. But surely there was no reason to let him go on this long...3-400 posts was certainly enough to indicate What Ponce Was All About. To cut him off at the knees now just seems cruel.
Cheering on and thereby endorsing terrorist actions against our own U.S. troops and profane scatological references within a few posts of each other was just too much for me.
Not to nitpick, but violent action against US troops in Iraq is not "terrorism." It's guerrilla warfare against an occupying army.

That still doesn't mean we should cheer when US troops get killed or anything, so I understand why you were offended. The war is the fault of the US government and much of the media, not the soldiers on the ground.

I wrote one time that if three members told me that they didn't want me here that I would leave never to return, well, I read three of them here today therefore is time to go.

Opera? thanks guy you know where I am coming from I like you said "I never lie".

Tex? this site is for the "common man" and not only for the elite as you want it to make it be, there are more common man in this world than there are elites and that's why America will be lost to the foreigners.

What pissed off Tex is the fact that I intent helping the Palestinian people create their country if only in a small way and Tex? stop using religion as a weapon as you are doing because by doing that all that you are doing is adding more gas to the fire.

I was somebody before I came here and will still be someone after I leave.

Saalam Aleikum friends and I hope that someday you all won"t be saying "Shalom" instead of good bye.

Because he is funny, entertaining, unusual, bizarre, different, odd, and unique… he adds life and color to the board.

Hey Ponce, I'm on your side. No forum should have too many yes-men.

BTW, it's the elites, not the common man, who are to blame for this nation being sank into a proverbial sea. The common man is only guilty to the degree that he doesn't rebel against the anti-common man policies of the elite.
