Has anybody seen the film "Crash?"

It's probably the most eloquent statement I've ever seen on the miseries attendant on multiculturalism.

There are some good lines in it, too.

Quite surprising.

There are a few PeeCee moments, but they're far outweighed by the extremely un-PeeCee bits. We have blacks acting like animals, Asians engaged in the slave trade, and white politicians trying to screw over their fellow whites for minority votes.

Hispanics came out smelling like a rose, including a white woman hugging her Mexican maid at the end saying "you're my best friend." I nearly barfed.

But all in all, not bad.

I'd like to hear your opinion.

Walt, Whenever I hear that a modern movie deals with 'racial tensions,' I basically run the other way, since that is usually tribespeak for 'demonizing Whitey.' Is this movie actually worthwhile?

IMHO, yes.

I think I'll see it again. There might have been a kosher angle there that I missed.

Some of the dialogue is pretty good, too. The opening scene is two young negro males walking out of a restaurant in a white neighborhood, with one of them bitching about how the waitress treated them because they're black. Then we find out that the waitress was black, they admit that she ignored them because blacks don't tip, and that they're not afraid to be in a white neighborhood because they're the only ones with guns.

Then they do a carjacking.

I thought it was a pretty cool moment.

The film really basically says that blacks are beyond all help, with a few notable exceptions. It also says clearly that blacks and others are favored at the expense of working class whites, and that this accrues to the benefits of white elites.

I'll see it again, I'm sure that I missed some good stuff the first time around. Like I said, there might have been a kosher angle there, I'm not sure.

Anyway, it's worth a look, IMHO.

Check it out, I think you'll like it.

CAVEAT: you may conclude (if indeed you haven't already) that I'm full of sh*t!
