Any church that would even have a vote on this issue makes me think, should the real Christians stay and try to save the denomination, or go like they're fleeing Sodom. I suppose that decision should wait on the outcome of the vote.

The church members should say something and if nothing is done by the church then leave. You can't do much, you can't just start a fight or rally or something stupid like that, it doesnt work. I'm not saying flee from every church you don't like! just find one that preaches from God's Word. Gay's as pastors how sinful! it's like Murder and still doing it and everyone knows but it's ok to become a pastor! God does say come as you are but when you do you change the holy spirit fills you with commen sense and duh! Your still Gay! A Thief! ETC.... HE also said go and sin no more!

Thanks Happy Hacker! you took the words out of my mouth, but just remember that we need to show them the way at least plant the seed and see from there and let God take care of it. Oh yeah!........ what verse and chapter is that from? I want to read more on that, cause for the life of me can not find where its at :( Thanks!

Yes, even though they did the good thing on the queer issue, ELCA is still a a pretty dopey church body. They just approved altar fellowship with the Methodists. Anyone who knows anything about real Lutheran theology knows that real Lutherans and real Methodists can't agree on such things. If both Luther and Wesley were still alive, they would be angry for a distortion of thier respective theologies.
