Now its nurses and medical workers. Im running out of things to encourage my son to study when he comes of age.

Most manufacturing jobs have already gone overseas, and most service jobs will follow. Basically, if you provide a service that does not have to be done in person, such as programming, tax preparation, tech support, financial services, etc, your job will be outsourced sooner or later. Want job security? Become a barber.
