For anyone who's not been subjected to this, America's racial sensibilities and worshipping the mighty Negro look ridiculous. Evidently the notion of ââ¬Åracismââ¬Â figures very prominently in your value system and you think it a grave sin. I would put it to you that the construct deserves neither the high ranking nor the negative connotation you seem to assign it.
Most people here define racism as nothing more than recognition that inherent differences between the races exist and that it is best for all concerned to act accordingly. Racism comes naturally. It is the default mode of human behavior, observable wherever racial aliens arrive in large numbers.
Strip away self-denials and consider individual acts: voting patterns, mating habits, choice of residence, etc. Racists may be the (self) unacknowledged majority, but their preferences are well established and come through loud and clear. Much suffering in modern nations would be alleviated if only governments behaved as their constituents want them to on the question of immigration. Formerly all-white countries are in a race to see to who will be the first to accomplish wholesale supplanting of whites in favor of aliens and half-breeds. I think this a hateful act on the part of my government.
The term ââ¬Åracismââ¬Â is a recent addition to the English language. Take a perfectly good word and add the element of superiority (pretend itââ¬â¢s something evil and unnatural) and presto: a shiny new word with which to badger whites and make them feel guilty for being better equipped to provide for themselves in the material realm.
There is nothing wrong with fancying oneââ¬â¢s country or oneself superior to others. Nation states openly encourage the former, always have and always will so long as they mean to endure. That they confine the measure of their greatness to things like economic indicators, athletic prowess, and ââ¬Ësocial progressââ¬â¢ (of dubious value), and not for instance the quality of their common racial stock, is a recent phenomenon.
This thread is obviously something of a comic relief for like-minded people. Think of it as chit-chat around the water-cooler that you may have at work. It is the kind of thing people partake everyday in the privacy of their homes, their restaurant tables, and their websites, if you can believe it.
All comedy is ultimately reducible to folly on the part of someone, and the greater the divergence between individuals and groups the greater the comic opportunity. Seen in this light, you may appreciate the amount of restraint shown here--or maybe not.
In any event, posting on this thread is tantamount to barging in on a semi-private conversation between folks not of your clique and criticizing them for lacking sensitivity vis-à-vis people who, more often than not, will [I]never[/I] make their presence known. If ââ¬Åintelligent debate or discussionââ¬Â is what you truly seek there are ample other threads to accommodate you. Or you could start your own--honest questions will yield considerate responses. That some have sacrificed their comedy/coffee breaks here is in indicia of their willingness to do so.
It boils down to this: Did you come here to question people about ââ¬Åracism,ââ¬Â or criticize the efforts at comic relief (no doubt aided by the plight of our current position) that come from holding ââ¬Åracistââ¬Â beliefs? This is a question that you and others like you must determine for themselves prior to posting. One approach may yield meaningful exchanges, the other is a complete waste of time.

i came to this site because i was genuinely interested in hearing the ideas and opinions of the people who post here. my reason for posting on this particular thread is... well, i can't say i had much of a reason other than to express my knee-jerk reaction to what i was reading. honestly, i hold no illusions about my ability to convert anyone to my way of thinking. my response here has simply been genuine shock and disgust.
but really, is there a difference between water-cooler humour that is racist, and blatant racism? aren't they the same thing? and don't they come from the same place? --but to say that black people use their own feces to style their hair with... my God, that is going to such a dark place.
i have seen a lot of talk on these boards about the "facts" of the races--but i haven't seen anything other than opinion to back up these boasts. we're all animals.
