I was just thinking that the congress critters probably were motivated to push CAFTA after the chinese revalued their currency higher, which by itself will make stuff at wallmart cost more. That is until walmart starts buying more stuff from mehico and central america.

I was reading in the news about the US throwing billions of dollars at Niger to help feed the starving natives. If the Nigerians could figure out how to make simple things, then we could support Nigerians with voluntary trade via WalMart rather than coerced charity through taxes.

Left alone, Africa will go back to the stone age.

This setting up western style (loosely applied term) central governments and dictating geographic boundaries is not natural for Africa.

Even the attempts to provide aid will only exasperate the situation and prolong the return to a natural state of existence.

Let them go.
