Hmmm....Rodrigo Cervantes Zavala was an illegal alien on felony probation in Arizona, never deported for any of his crimes. THEN he murdered three people, kidnapped his two children and fled to Mexico. Law enforcement recovered the children who were returned to their illegal alien mother - in Arizona, of course. She thanks...Mexico! And Cervantes will get better treatment than an American criminal - no death penalty - because of the Mexican Murder Lobby. If you ain't mad...

Thats enough to make any reasonable person mad as hell, but what is even worse is the murder intimidation factor employed by low-level drug dealers and street gang members here in AZ and undoutably other states as well.

For $200 any of these punks can hire a mexican to come across the border and carry out a targeted murder and then return to Mexico with impunity. One of my fellow AZ Rangers was murdered in this way in front of his children and wife while parked in front of a convenience market. No arrests have been made.

An AZ corrections officer was also murdered along with his wife while off-duty while travelling along a local interstate in a similar occurence. Again, no arrests have been made, just a personal confession to me by a Mexican Mafia member is the only evidence in this particular case.

I could share much more, but I've probably said enough for now. The point I'm attempting to make is that until our southern border is made secured we can expect Mexican Murder Incorporated to continue business as usual with the situation getting totally out of control. Get active folks!

K
Yes, that's terrible as it is. What's scary is to see how easily the violence erupting in Mexico now, where (straight) police are now being targeted frequently, like in this article about Neuvo Laredo could so easily spread here, and in fact is already spreading. What's to stop it?

With politics as usual among most of our representatives in D.C. I'm afraid nothing is going to stop it in the forseeable future. I think the tide may just be turning a little in favor of securing our borders among the general population, but unless a lot more become active in the near future things will not change much. In the end our only hope may be to take the law into our own hands (interpret the latter as you will).

Disgusting, but unsurprising. Bush and his cheap-labor boosters have decided that the murders of American citizens are just part of the "cost of doing business" and are especially attractive since they and their families aren't the ones paying them. I mean, Jenna's never likely to run afoul of one of those south-of-the-border, just-here-to-murder-people-Americans-won't cucarachas late one night, now is she?

AZ Rangers? Is that the AZ equivalent of the Texas Rangers? The law enforcement agency, not the baseball team. If so, we need a lot more like you in state and local agencies. I hear that some Rangers here have spent time prosecuting "vigilantes" who violate the "civil rights" of our invaders. What happened to the Rangers here anyway? Has PC brought them down as well?

I'll do a little digging and see if I can find the case.

Edit: Ah, here we go. The article is interesting, but you have to ignore the slant the paper gives the story, it being the paper of record for Moscow on the Colorado (Austin). Does anyone know the final disposition of the case?

A few weeks before the magazine's publication, Ranch Rescue's perfect record was blemished. A Texas Ranger arrested two of Ranch Rescue's armed troops on charges of pistol-whipping a man March 18 on a ranch just outside Hebbronville, about 50 miles east of Laredo and less than 50 miles from the Mexican border. The rancher, Joseph Sutton, had asked for Foote's help; Sutton said he had given up on the Border Patrol and the Jim Hogg County Sheriff's Department curbing what he described as rampant trespassing on his ranch. :gunsmilie

No, we were just technically labeled "Traffic Control Officers" and rode KZ1000 police bikes for funeral escorts and parades with no power of arrest. It was just a side job for awhile to feel the wind in my face while I had no bike of my own.

AZ used to have Rangers comparable to Texas Rangers, but the group was disbanded early in the 1900's.
