A Payne County judge has ordered a convicted Tulsa County killer to stand trial for a fatal stabbing at the Cimarron Correctional facility in Cushing.
32 year old Eric Johnson is charged with murder in the stabbing of Adam Lippert. The stabbing happened March 22nd. During a preliminary hearing, an inmate testified he saw 40 armed black inmates attack 20 unarmed white inmates in a recreation area of the prison.
Authorities have said all along the riot was racially motivated. Prosecutors say they may ask for the death penalty.

[/QUOTE]Its been an item back here in the news. And actually we just had another race brawl in one of our prisons. Guess that's one of the joys of integrated prisons.
The news media of course made a big deal about how Lippert, although a member of the White prison group - I think its Aryan Briotherhood or something - wasn't a racist, he just was doing that to survive. Course they don't say a thing about the black gang. Certainly no "hate crime" charges in this venue, even though Johnson has a great chance of getting the death penalty here in Oklahoma, where we're no. 1 in the nation. (Take that spiderman! :lol:)
And you can tell what a wonderful job the facility does in protecting inmates. It doesn't mention this in the article, but almost all the black prisoners were carrying baseball bats. They even joked about that on the radio.
