The worst part about it is that it completely destroys the beauty of the word. Now marriage no longer means anything special and pure, it has been lowered to the demands of special interest groups. Even worse is that the people who advocate this call themselves "progressives." This is not progression, it is regression.

Homosexuals destroyed a once beautiful word, "gay", not they're destroying a beautiful institution. Kane is right. They have no interest in marriage itself; and if they do, the lack of legal recognition is not any obstacle to the "lifestyle" they choose, they just want to destroy what is good.
Bush is greatly to blame. Here in America, he has done nothing to stand against the homosexual "marriage" movement. On the contrary, he openly supports homosexual "unions" (which is marriage in substance and will be called marriage). And, if he hadn't dragged the conservative government of Spain into his bogus Iraq/terrorism war, the conservative government would still be in power and there would be no homosexual marriage in spain.
What a dreadful price conservatives and Christians are paying for supporting Bush. What fools.

The Jews subverted the institution of marriage with their bogus sciences of "psychology" and "psychiatry" and "feminism" and using demonic stooges like Freud, Kinsey and Steinman to promote all kinds of perverted shit with media backing.
The outcome of decades of that subversion is "gay marriage".

Homosexual 'marriage' is nothing more than an attempt to subvert another traditional Christian institution by redefining and perverting it.

Well the civil union would not be something I would support, I probably wouldn't be angry to the same level if they got legalized then I would if full-out Marriage got legalized. That would really p*ss me off.

The lie of multiculturalism reaches it apotheosis in homosexual "marriage." People have successfully confused marriage and sexual preference. Marriage is NOT all about sex. Marriage is two become one. Marriage is start a family. Sex is a part of it. It is NOT the defining element.
Look at every culture in the world. Look at the cultural assumption made in damned near every one of them: marriage is between a man and a woman, or between a man and several women.
Holland, Spain, and Canada are wrong. Everyone else is right. Homos can live together all they like, bugger away, lick away lesbians. I am not going to knock your door down to watch, please stay out of my house as well.
But don't call this perversion marriage. It ain't.

Sex is the oil that keeps the engine running smoothly. Without it, things are going to burn up pretty quickly, but by the same token, a quart of 10W-30 sitting on a shelf isn't going to get you anywhere by itself.

Amen to that. Homosexual activists have finally induced the collective hetero gag reflex. They had 90+% of what they wanted: "tolerance" taught in schools, queer safe zones and coddling of "gender conflicted" teenagers (and guess which direction these kids were pushed?), anti-discrimination laws, they've just gotten the bath houses re-opened and defined as "social clubs" etc, etc. But nope, tolerance wasn't good enough, they had to push to be loved and embraced and rump rangering had to be seen as equivalent to hetero sex, legally and socially. Took a page from the GOP and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory they did. Boo hoo.
