Tents? Any ideas...?

Any ideas. I think I would want something that will fit in the trunk of my car. I have seen some cot tents that look like they might be good for one person.

A tent for one person to a tent that fits in the trunk of a car is pretty broad, doesn't that cover 99% of the tents out there? Would the intended use be recreational? If so on your own land or public land? Would it be a survival provision? There are a lot of cheap nylon tents out there that are lightweight and keep the bugs out (very important in wet and warm climates). I have one I paid about $30 for that weighs about 3 lbs. Even the heaviest of canvas tents don't keep bears out. If the intended use is to have it set up for an entire season, canvas is better because of sunlight resistance, but they are heavy. If you want something for your own property, shipping containers are great. You can even sleep on top under the stars without worrying about waking up to the wet muzzle of a bear against your forehead.
