Billy Graham's Daughter Arrested For Spousal Abuse
POSTED: 6:17 pm EDT July 8, 2005
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Evangelist Billy Graham's daughter pushed and choked her husband in a Kmart parking lot, witnesses told police, leading to her arrest.
Virginia Graham Foreman, 59, spent a night in jail after New Smyrna Beach police said she physically abused her husband, Chad, on July 1. She was charged with misdemeanor domestic abuse and released on her own recognizance the following day.
Witness David Hill of Edgewater told police that Virginia Foreman choked and pushed her husband.
"She was mean," Hill told the Orlando Sentinel. "I guess she started pushing him and grabbed him around his throat."
Police determined that choking and pushing her husband was domestic violence and placed Foreman under arrest, against her husband's wishes.
Volusia County Judge Mary Jane Henderson, who presided over Foreman's first appearance hearing, said Chad Foreman told police that witnesses had "just misunderstood what was going on between them."
No answered the phone at the couple's home on Friday.
Billy Graham, famous for five decades for his crusades and his friendships with presidents, concluded a three-day revival meeting in New York City last month that he indicated would be his last.

1. Chad is a Fundementalist who attended Bob Jones.
2. "Chad" is a good name for this whimp.
3. Virginia will no longer be able to CCW or keep an AK-47 in her house.
4. Chad doesn't work and depends upon Virginia not being in jail.
5. None of the above
6. All of the above.

Typical "Evangelical" home situation where the women wears the pants and the man is a cringing cur. There are certainly some exceptions out there, but show me your typical Baptist family and 9 times out of 10 the woman is the leader. Of course, this is entirely contrary to scripture.

Maybe she needs to be in control because her father is The Man. There that's my psycho babble assesment.

And some dumb son of a bitch marries her since her daddy is rich.

You people are nuts. You have no idea what the argument was about or even what the sequence of events was. And he did the right thing insisting she'd done nothing wrong.
The outrage here is a woman being mandatorily locked up for an "incident" that the "plaintiff" insists never happened. We're in a country that hands illegal aliens drivers' licenses and Medicaid cards like hardware-store flyers - and then insists on locking up its native-born citizens like they were whores in a trick-sweep, even over the protests of their "victims"... and all you can do is giggle over how pussywhipped the husband is? Pathetic.

Hmm, let's get the daughter of one of the most prominent religious leaders of our time and harrangue her in the press. Sounds familiar.

BB, I don't care if she's prominent, conservative, or a seamstress nobody ever heard of. She's being arrested for "attacking" someone who insisted she did no such thing. That's insane.
Let's face it: she's being arrested because any cop with less than ten years in these days has been pc'ed and sensitivity-trained to death; he's trained to view the citizenry as something to be subdued and controlled, and likely more scared of not arresting 60-year-old white women than he is of tackling a mestizo gangbanger.

The fact is there is a huge amount of spousal abuse by women against their husbands. Most of it goes unreported because men are ashamed to reveal it for fear of looking like wimps. Modern dames are as quick as lightning to dial 911 if hubby so much as throws a nerf ball at them.
Male victims of female abuse will almost always deny it. There was a study in Canada a few years ago showing that the amount of actual abuse by sex is something on the order of 50-50.
