Thanks for the info JW...Catholics, especially those in theTraditional Catholic Movement are slowly becoming aware of the negative influence of anti-Christ Israel, the neo-cons, Zionists, etc. throughout the world.
The Catholic Church will be revived, and the Jews fear no other branch of Christianity more than this one.
Another good Traditional Catholic voice is at www.RemnantNewspaper,com

I just re-subscribed to The Remnant, after a long hiatus, to read about the new papacy.
A feisty traditionalist site is also www.novusordowatch.org.
As for the article, there will be peace in the Mid-east when hell freezes over. Israel can't absorb a foreign people on any type of civilized plane and remain a Jewish state. Nor can it exist securely within its original borders, which are laughably flawed. Neither side has the answer. The article wants us to pour tons of money down the drain for a future that will never come. The essence of liberalism, and just what you'd expect from the Jesuit "America."

I know that this is redundant but it makes me feel better to say it.
"The Jews are the Chatolic church worse enemy"
Those people are chiseling away the foundation of the church by killing Christian holydays (Xmas) Cristian belief (10 Commandants) once the foundation is gone the building will colapse....the choice is yours.

Very true, Catholics and Jews have never held a high opinion of each other. Most Jews have very little real understanding of Catholicism and there perceptions of it generally seem quite warped.

the quoted article is from March 5, 2001. Way out of date. http://www.americamagazine.org/editorial.cfm?articleTypeID=3&textID=1855&issueID=338 per Google cache. We don't really hear talk like this from the pulpits these days. Pax Christi might endorse it, clinging to liberation theology. Unfortunately most mainline Catholics in the US are pro-Bush and will follow where he "leads" them. EWTN is basically a Deal Hudson-Catholic neocon- Republican-dominated site, insofar as it is political at all. Priests and bishops consciously avoid discussing the War, the Israeli-Palestine conflict, and anything derogatory of modern Jews and Israelis. Somebody ought to find out what happened to the original writer of this editorial, back in March 2001. He was probably ostracized and stripped of his position, I'd reckon. Catholics could do well by supporting the Israel/Caterpillar/war machine divestment campaigns of other Christian denominations; and also by direct support to Christians in the Holy Land, particularly the Franciscans who have secured Bethlehem.

uh oh this will bring the wrath of aipac sooner or later. let the sparks fly!
America is a far left Jesuit mag and their opposition to Israel here is based on humanitarian concern for Palestinians and aversion to militarism, not the destruction Zionism & Zionist agents have wreaked on Western polities.

The sad thing about most churches, and governments for that matter, is that they are run from the top down. When they get too big for their britches they lose touch with the peons at the bottom of the ladder and after a while you get the situation described by Orwell in "Animal House".
The sad thing about most churches, and governments for that matter, is that they are run from the top down.
I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with "top-down" structures, such as aristocracy or monarchy, or the Catholic Church. The problem today is, we have bad people at the top. They need replacing.
