LATEST: The BBC has apologised to outraged viewers after stars including MADONNA and SNOOP DOGG peppered their performances with swear words at yesterday's (02JUL05) UK Live 8 gig.
The British broadcaster was bombarded with complaints when the RAY OF LIGHT singer bellowed, "Are you f**king ready, London?" to a stunned family crowd in London's Hyde Park. Meanwhile, rap star Snoop Dogg made no attempt to clean up his expletive-riddled lyrics.
A BBC spokesperson says, "We have received a number of complaints regarding offensive language. Unfortunately it is a live broadcast, passions are running high and many celebrities are emotional.
"We apologise to anyone who is offended."

Wellllllllll, Madonna is now a Jew so thats nothing special that she now likes to swear a lot and for Snoopy Dog? what else can you expect from him?
Even the so called live broadcast should have a five seconds delay if nothing else in order to protect the kids who are waching "their heros" on tv. :angry:

The MTV broadcast of that Live 8 multicity concert was possibly the worst video direction and worst hosting in broadcast history. Not to mention that there were only a few talented acts such as U2 and Paul McCartney doing Sgt. Pepper, The Who doing Won't Get Fooled Again (interrupted just before the climax of the song so the two idiot hosts could remind the viewers that the program was about African Negroes who continually have offspring they cannot afford to have, before switching to a commercial), and Pink Floyd (interrupted just before famous Comfortably Numb guitar solo).
Madonna sucks and her performance sucked and her swearing which I think was bleeped out was forced and awkward anyway. There were some Hebrew symbols in the big screen during her presence on stage. Also Greenday, Audioslave, and all the rap/R&B acts sucked. All of Alicia Keys songs sound the same, like boring, cheap variations of Amazing Grace. One of the Negro "rappers" mentioned that he believed HIV/AIDS was a manmade disease. Snoop Dog tried to rap to the outro chorus of Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye by Steam and his inability to carry a tune was mildly amusing but overall the presentation was disgusting.

Why don't artists take a stand and stop participating in anything with such ugly causes? Where's a concert in support of increasinig birth rates in white countries? If niggers die out tomorrow, no one will notice.

Appeared to be an orgy of self-promotion by middle aged rock stars singing songs intended for the adolescent mind. Looks silly. Madonna better retire and soon. She is starting to look like a caricature of herself.
