Obviously this ridiculous gathering of Negroes to partake in listening to some of the worst music in the Western world should be called Negro-Fest.

But to properly introduce this congregation of __ (insert descriptive noun here), the mayor has pointed out that "racism" will not be tolerated in the French Quarter.

Nagin, Tourism Officials Vow Racism Won't Be Tolerated

Fri Jun 24, 5:43 PM ET

Mayor Ray Nagin and a coalition of tourism leaders said at a Friday news conference that they are united in an effort to make it clear that racism in the French Quarter and elsewhere in the city has never been tolerated and will be firmly dealt with where it's found to exist.

"We, the city of New Orleans, government, regular citizens, leaders of the tourist industry, will not tolerate discrimination in any form," Nagin said.

The mayor and tourism leaders said the unified front is not an attempt to preempt the NAACP's anti-discrimination march planned for Saturday....

The issue over racial profiling by those in the service industry erupted when a black tourist died at the hands of four white bouncers during a scuffle at the Razzoo Bar and Patio in the French Quarter.

The incident prompted the mayor to send "mystery shoppers" into several Bourbon Street bars. The investigation culminated in a report that found discriminatory practices at several businesses.

Pam Fortner's bar was one of those cited for charging black customers a higher price for drinks....

With the high-profile Essence Fest approaching, leaders said they want to make sure the city welcomes all its visitors, regardless of skin color.

"We're going to make sure that substantively, and day in and day out, those pockets (of discrimination) are rooted out and eliminated," Perry said.

What is amusing is that the "Essense-Fest" is itself racist and discriminatory in favor of non-Whites.

The Essence Music Festival, known as "the party with a purpose," is the nation's largest annual African-American event and gathering of musical talent in the world. The Festival has become a destination of choice for families and friends as they schedule their reunions. This multigenerational Festival offers free Empowerment Seminars during the day, and exciting performances at night where Festivalgoers can dance and sing along with the biggest names in entertainment-rhythm and blues, classic soul, hip-hop, neo-soul and jazz - all on five stages within the Louisiana Superdome.

The oppression that Negroes have to suffer in America is so sad. :afro:

I had the misfortune to spend a night in Atlanta during Freaknik a few years back. I will spare you the details, but it strongly impressed on me the undesirability of a white minority in America.

Wonder what Mayor Nagin is going to do or say when the Negroids inevitably rampage, destroy property, and assault White people during "Essence-fest".

We always left town, or at the least laid in supplies and avoided any public areas.

Before the white business establishment forced the mayor to act, Freaknik had begun to spread out into the Lenox and Buckhead area and on to the exurbs. The awakening of the whiteflight diaspora for a brief time trumped the multicultists who were willing to sacrifice the safety and dollars of typical white residents in exchange for the glory of the Olympics. Any thought of speaking out against Freaknik- or gay "pride", or any other downtrodden minority cause- was mostly silenced during that period so that the business elite could show how overmatched the city could be by this international sports orgy. A loner from the hills with a bag of black powder showed how idiotic these civic-minded pinheads were, even compared to their partners in the corrupt citygov Mandingo machine. But that was later. Freaknik began to die only when the power moguls of Buckhead and beyond found their daughters and (more importantly no doubt) their cash threatened by rampaging blue-gum tribal warriors hungry for white booty of any kind. The black mayor Campbell stated that the date of Freaknik 1997- April 19, the anniversaries of the Waco massacre and the OKC bombings- added up to a "toxic mix" for the city. Having laid off the dangers of Freaknik on the imagined hordes of white militia roaming Auburn Avenue and the King Memorial, the city could then act with purpose in bringing the annual rampage to a final close. The local media purred at the wisdom of the cities black fathers saving the innocent flower of future black leadership from those evil white supremacists lurking unseen behind every pimpmobile on Peachtree.

Below is an article from the year Freaknik was beginning to wind down. Although now the tribal spring break drums beat in other areas, the years before this when Freaknik was at its cultural peak were a nightmare of public copulation, outdoor defecation and general Zulu darkness.

Freaknik is an annual spring frolic for black college students, which has been held in Atlanta since 1982. It is well known to be accompanied by looting and violence, but a black-run city is unable to bring itself to forbid the students to come. Thousands of whites simply leave town for the weekend.

This year's Freaknik, held April 21 through 23, drew only about half as many party-goers as last year's 200,000, and the revelry was somewhat more subdued. Even so, for about 12 hours on Friday, crowds overwhelmed police and looted a dozen stores. On Saturday, students drove to suburban malls for desultory looting. Blacks smashed a department store window and made off with clothes – as crowds cheered – until a man appeared with a shotgun and fired several shells into the air. Three people were shot and ten women were raped in Freaknik-related violence, and the 1,793 Freaknik arrests swamped the Atlanta Municipal Court. Police overtime and clean-up costs were about one million dollars.

Thousands of specially-trained riot police, positioned just minutes from the looting, were never called out. The police chief and mayor, both black, have since traded accusations over who should have ordered them into action. Former Atlanta mayor, Sam Massell, probably got it right: "It took a great deal of courage to take any action that appeared to be forceful in opposition to an event that is predominantly African-American in nature and profile" – that is to say, more courage than either had.

Freaknik gets its name from the word freak which, in black slang, means someone who will do anything to get sex. There were many lewd displays by both sexes, and women were stripped and groped. Many men carried video cameras, turning them aggressively on all comers, willing or not.

The current mayor, Bill Campbell, had initially opposed the freaknikers but relented after being likened to George Wallace, Lester Maddox, "Bull" Connor, and Uncle Tom. He may now have enough allies to close "the South's black Mecca" to next year's frolic. [Rodger Brown, Broken Promise, Creative Loafing (Atlanta), May 6, 1995. In any normal country this violent congregation of apes should be met with the most police brutality imaginable. And as far as I am concerned, machine-gunning on sight would be a good investment of taxes.

If you own a businesses, store or bar in New Orleans it's a good time to lock it up and take a week off, I would say.

Just givin' the cracker's what they deserve after so many years of tormenting the blacks. I think permitting this Essencefest is a great idea. I put it right up there with Juneteenth and Kwanza as memorable days. :disgust:

Whenever a nigger acts like the wild savage they are and harms people, etc, they are just letting off a little steam, or expressing themselves and their anger at whitey who keeps them down, if you don't believe that, you are a racist.:clown:

Imagine a similar gathering of ONLY white musicians.

Im glad to say ive never experienced such a nightmare as this. I can imagine my great gandpa remembered something similar when in 1921 the negros caused trouble in Tulsa,ok. Their farm was only about 60 miles southwest of there. Some of the Tulsa police, dropped tnt from private airplanes on some of the negro areas and rounded up the rest at gun point. Ahh the good old days.

In that case, I support Essence-fest. The more Whites realize the double standards that afflict them and that this isn't their country anymore, the better, I say.

All instances of "anti-racism" and divershitty propaganda should be named right away as parts of the hate-whitey campaign. They whine, you throw it back at them. Escalate rhetoric. Make them talk more, they will say something that will make less enlightened whites see light.

"Here's their damage bill for you to pay, Whitey. Only a Klansman would complain about it. Diversity is our strength!," or words to that general effect. Surely you recall the script?

They can say they're doing it because Santa Claus' wife is coming to town, and "her" transgendered pedophile predilictions were a danger to the upstanding African-American youth pastors (presently trying to drink cheap malt liquor out of a C-cup from a brassiere stolen off the back of a White woman who otherwise failed in her attempt to purchase baby formula at the local convenience store) upon whom her and her coterie of blood-thirsty, racist elves would be preying upon, and sexually humiliating some their women folk on live national television the next morning during a special broadcast of the "Regis and Some Bimbo Show."

It doesn't matter what reason they give, so long as they shut it down. Everyone knows better than to believe anything that comes out of the mouths of these bouught-and-paid-for, treasonous degenerates whom their allied media insultingly refers to as "our leaders." Even their most fervent supporters within the middle, working and underclasses are generally quite aware that everything they say is a lie. The Freepers may be so ignorantly swept away with Judeophilia that they actually believe Bush's lies, but that's not generally the way it works in this pathetic excuse for what so recently was a great nation. The people who will soon be writing $100 checks to the Hillary Clinton Presidential Exploratory Committee are not under the impression that she tells them the truth. They are mostly habitual liars in their own daily lives, and they believe its axiomatic that a society such as ours ought be, and really only can be, governed by people who share their disdain for the distinction between truth and falsity. And in a very real, albeit hopefully transitory sense, they are absolutely correct. In a few years, they'll be lying about how much they support our program for national revitalization and general human decency. We'll let them get away with it, so long as they stay away from the levers of power much higher than General Manager of your local Motel 6, as it would take a little too much in the way of brutality to cleanse them from this Earth (as they obviously deserve). Their ancestors were often far superior people; hopefully the same will be able to be said of their descendants.

When I hear the word "youth," I reach for my pistol. You never hear that word associated with decent people who just so happen to be young. Besides, weren't most of bullet magnets participating in Nigger Up Your Ass Fest '97 (or whatever the Hell they call their stupid shit; I can never keep track of their imbecilic lingo) in theirs 20s? Youth? Hardly.
