Staff Accountant
The [NOT]Southern [NON]Poverty [NO]Law Center, a leading civil rights organization located in Montgomery, Alabama, has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant in the Finance and Administration Department. The position requires a BS [LOL!!!--LOTS OF BS THERE!!!] Degree in Accounting or a related field and 3 to 5 years experience. Applicants for this position should be self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills, strong computer skills, and a high aptitude for detail. This position requires the candidate to be flexible and a team player. Duties include project cost analysis, asset inventory control, special accounting and operations projects, and direct assistance to the Director of Administration & Finance. This position is classified as salaried non-exempt. Occasional overtime required.
