Oh my, the queers will be getting their panties in a twist over this one. LOL

Perry also ceremonially endorsed the already passed resolution calling a November election on a definition-of-marriage constitutional amendment.

Preaching from behind the official seal of the governor of Texas, Parsley said gay Americans cause 60 percent of syphilis cases and live barely half as long as heterosexual Americans. He argued against "sacrificing our children on the altar of the sexual lust of a few."

Later in the school library, Perry was asked in a news conference how he would tell Texas gay and lesbian war veterans that they can't come home from war in Iraq and get married.

Perry said if they don't like Texas law, they can just leave.

He still has much to answer for though, regarding the flood of mexicans. However, this is good news and i anxiously await the fallout from the queer protests.

That's our little perfect-hair Perry, throwing red meat to the conservative base while aiding and abetting their displacement by the Mexican hordes.

This is precisely why I hate "conservative Republicans" more than any honest liberal. "Conservative Republicans" are as much in favor of dispossessing white Americans as the Left, but they use secondary non-issues like "gay marriage" as a cover for their cynical, bottom line is the be all and end-all agenda to keep the rabble in line.

There was a similar article posted on Drudge. Check out the comments (over 100 of them). Too many queers in Texas, they should move to mexico!

Apparently, the GOOPs have decided that homosexuals are expendable (for the moment) and are in the process of throwing them out of the "big tent" in order to shore up their badly-eroding base (those White Christians that Dean was kvetching about). While the fundraising power of the queer lobby is not to be sneezed at, at the end of the day, they just don't deliver enough votes to offset the ones the GOOPs would lose by kissing their collective arses (yuck!). I would bet that the tactical decision came, ironically, from self-hating fag Karl Rove, who, despite being an evil slime, is pretty savvy. The placing of the homo-marriage issue on the ballots of "battleground" states the same day of the Presidential election was a stroke of genius.

I liken the average GOOP voter to a beaten spouse, who accepts the batterer back time and time again because he swears up and down that "I'll change, I promise!" About the best you can expect in that situation is to, politically, have to wear shades to cover the bruises instead of shades and a turtleneck to hide the ligature marks as well. The GOOPs are simply stalling for time by tossing these few crumbs until the White voter is completely disenfranchised by a docile and credulous brown majority and they no longer have to keep up even the pretense of conservatism. As you say, at least the Dummiecrats are more honest in that regard.

With the GOOPs, your marriage is "safe" but your job has gone to China and the Third World has come to you. Such a deal! as our rag-merchant betters like to say.

These are just a couple of bones thrown by Perry to the state's strong social conservatives 'cause re-election time is coming. Perry is about as much a social conservative as Ann Richards...and that aint much of one. Let's not forget that Perry once headed-up Al Gore's presidential campaign here in Texas.

Nevertheless, it looks like Kay Bailey Hutchinson may be the next chosen one, so it really won't get any better here in Texas for true conservatives. Might as well triumph in getting these anti-homo and parental notification bills and keep on working to elect real social cons.

I wonder how sincere he is on that sentiment, or if he was even quoted accurately. He just lost Houston for his party in the next election, though. As if that matters. :starwars:

Yes sodomites are bad, but the Mexicans are a far worse danger to Texas than the fags.

Good Points:

When thrown a bone, whitey dutifully returns to monkeys-on-stadium watching and beer-guzzling world of negrroes-as-presidents-and-best-mates-for-your-daughter zombifying televitz.
