Todd K. Bolus alleges he was abused by James Griffith in the 1970s when Griffith served as a deacon and Boy Scout leader at St. Raphael Church and School. The lawsuit says the abuse occurred when Bolus was 11 and attending Boy Scout camps in about 1973.
Sunday, September 29, 2002
James Griffith, a former deacon, Griffith is named in one lawsuit. He pleaded guilty in 1988 to indecent or immoral practices and first-degree sexual abuse for molesting another man who had been a student at St. Raphael Catholic School between 1974 and 1977. He was sentenced to five years' supervised probation. Griffith, a Passionist brother, lives at one of the order's residences in Chicago and has long been removed from public ministry, according to a spokesman for the order. He declined to return phone calls when the suit was filed. The victim of Griffith's crime also sued the archdiocese, in 1988, but the archdiocese won a ruling from the Kentucky Court of Appeals that post-traumatic memory disorder doesn't constitute grounds for extending the statute of limitations. That suit was dismissed.

What does "One Particular Harbor" mean, and what does it have to do with this story?

it ("One Particular Harbor" or "oph" is a handle (one of about 5) that a neocon purported fag-who-now runs a thing called ClownPosse.org (as "Bad Santa") went by, at FreeRepublic.com.
He's a well-known anti-conservative hassler at so-called "right-wing" or "conservative" sites. Goes by "Maximum Consumption" at LibertyPost; doesn't seem to post too much over at LibertyForum anymore.
Anyway, his name is Todd K. Bolus and there're a few articles about him having been buggered by a priest/Boy Scout leader when he was younger. He's also "gay" now, which probably explains his dislike of the sites that he frequents so often.
He and the neocon geeks at a couple of forae have been at my heels for a couple of years with libelous swill. I decided to give a little something back tonight.
That's the story.

I remember "One Particular Harbour" (with a "u") quite well. He got me banned at FR for doing nothing more than asking questions back in May 2001. An absolutely loathesome creature.

a dim-bulb named "Velveteen Knight" over at the Phora just asked, "Explain yourself, Todd." & I wrote:
It ain't brain surgery.
Todd K. Bolus, aka "Maximum Consumption"/"One Particular Harbo(u)r"/"oph"/"Chancellor Palpatine"/"Bad Santa" loves to resurrect "francisandbeans" libel about "Korean ladyboys" (which has morphed into: "underage females in Thailand" and other rot).
I thought it'd be a fun time to remind Mr. Bolus that he was REALLY (in real life: actually; not in some screen-handle's dumb fantasy, but REALLY) sodomized by a priest/Boy Scout leader.
No one can say he didn't earn this "outing." Hoo-yah.

While OPU was annoying in various ways, during the years that I posted at FR (late 1999 and 2000), he was solidly anti-neocon and anti-Zionist. Like Robinson and his other sidekicks, he changed his tune shortly after and would ban any and all who didn't obediently spout the neoconservative party line.
