Just got confirmation that a site formerly owned by a super-a$$hole over at LibertyForum.org ("Polichinello"; real name, Derek Copold) is now the property of Todd Brendan Fahey--owner of LibertyThink.com. (Will be up in a coupla days.) I did it purely out of spite, as it's just gonna serve as a mirror to SiaNews.com/FriendsOfLiberty.com. But as "Polichinello" was such a world-class a$$hole and neocon over at LF (where I'm now banned), I couldn't he'p myself.

I regard him as one of the most intelligent and articulate paleo-conservative thinkers on the web. There is no basis for these pejoratives. There's a world of difference between the two states. There is a Mexican culture here, but it's what's called "Tejano." The music gets its inspiration from polka (seriously!) and Nashville. It's not very congenial to an "in your face" attitude. I mean, Selena y los Dinos is about as hardcore as that music gets. I'll offer that the answer has to do with two things. 1. Hitler killed Caucasians and Semites. (Some classify Jews as "white" and some don't. Desire to set that aside for the moment.) Stalin killed out of sight of the press. Japan and Mao killed, in bulk, Asians, the former in front of the world, the latter away from the press. 2. I gather we agree on the why. It's all about who best uses the tools of information warfare. Here's a morsel of double speak: a piece of that was once called "propaganda" but is now called "psychological operations." When he signed on here at OD it was like a breath of fresh air. As for Polichinello, if he's reading this...Hello Derek! Hope you and yours are well. For those that don't remember that far back, despite whatever differences of opinion I might have with him, Polichinello was often times the only consistent and active counter to the fire breathing Net-Nazis who tried to dominate discussions here on this fledgling board after Dr. Sam's place went down.
