Gang, I hate to clog the boards with throwaway lines from neo-con forums on the web, but as you'll read, this post is simply too precious. Especially as it's been penned by one of the moderators! Bold emphasis is mine.

Posted by gdoane: "Iraq, compared to any other war in American History, is a brilliant success. It was not any failure in Iraq which drove Libya to declare an abandonment of its WMD ambitions. Nor was it any failure in Iraq which has gotten Al Qaeda to redirect its evil plots away from the American homeland.

In ten years of the Vietnam War, for example, over 50,000 US Troops died. Compare this to over two years in Iraq and fewer than 2,000 casualties, and it becomes obvious that whatever is being done is being done right.

This has been a showcase war; a textbook model upon which all future warfare will be judged as the new gold standard for how best to win. Other wars may be Hell, but this one is as close to heavenly as any war we've ever fought. I love this war. It strikes fear deep into the heart of our enemies as it shows we can kick butt and barely even break a sweat.

Screw the Iraqi Army. Screw every other Army on the planet. They are now obsolete thanks the the genius of Shock and Awe."...

This from some geek who's probably never been in a fistfight and would soil his drawers if actually shot at. Somehow I get the idea that the desk chair in front of his PC has a perfect ass-shaped impression of his glutes in it.

I love this war..

Then go fight it, Audie Murphy!

I love this war. It strikes fear deep into the heart of our enemies as it shows we can kick butt and barely even break a sweat. Despite "our" military's overwhelming technological advantages, "our" enemies aren't afraid of "us" at all -- many of them willingly give their lives to fight against ZOG. And why the hell would this joker "break a sweat" during this war? What's he been doing, jacking off to pictures of Paris Hilton in front of his computer? He certainly hasn't been over there lending a hand.

I don't mean to sound like I support what the Israeli Offensive Forces are doing over in Iraq, but of course anyone who does support it needs to volunteer to get over there and take the place of someone who has better things to do than fight for Israel.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a little coming home party for 18 or so Marines who finished 2 tours as MP's in Fallujah.

Listening to their descriptions of the "daily routine" will quickly make you realise there is nothing easy, quick, or brilliant about this war. Same hell different location.

The clown who posted that crap has obviously never had the honor to protect and defend his country. No one who has can be that cavalier about any War.

In fact, the Iraq war and occupation will be more harmful than helpful to the US in the long run. Those soldiers are only being used for Israel's benefit. I wish more of them realized that and wouldn't stand for it.

Anyway, none of this changes the fact that the guy who posted that garbage on Hannity's board is probably a little Jewish twerp.

The soldiers and Marines are (for the moment) willing to trust the decisions based on "civilian control of the military" which is the AMerican rule. The day they don't do that, look out, the shit storm will be immense. I for one do not want to be near that frag pattern.

The strange thing in Iraq, the one that the media can't measure, is how the balance is working. "If it bleeds it leads" is how we see it in the Media. What is hard to discern is how the good works are being perceived. Someone commented on the hearts and minds bit. That is an effort in progress, though I will not pretend that "all is going swimmingly sir!" as to the shills.

Due to two media slants, one the shrill shills whose credibility is lame, and the other the doom and gloom crowd, we see it all through a cloud of dust. That does not excuse a bad decision.

Ed,

I wonder why it is when I read your remarks I just knew that talk radio was involved. Hell, this jackass is simple regurgitating Hannity's standard nonsense.

Hmm, this moderater might be "Herschel"!
