Excellent poster who wowed many of us on the Gay thread and has some really cogent posts when least you expect something of substance at LF.
Here's one:

Which I think is the wisest path. It costs a fraction, the time in training is shorter, and there aren't the artificial restrictions for getting in. I think it is important to look at this problem in a wide context, and ask who benefits from this system. I believe that the benefit is to those whose goal is the destruction of our traditional American society. There is no doubt that the biggest losers are Americans in general and white males in particular. Looking at what has happened in medicine gives us a microcosm on what is happening in all areas of our culture. White males are being shut out of their rightful place in the professions. It limits their social and political influence drastically. I have often wondered what an immigrant MD thinks is wrong with American males, that they do not pursue the professional advancement that seems to be at their fingertips. Certainly, he does not think that they are less intelligent or capable, how else would America have become a highly industrialized country? Wasnââ¬â¢t it his progenitors who made America what it is? It must be very puzzling to walk into the US as an MD and have the feeling that it is bereft of the people who built it. Have they no sense what rightfully belongs to them? That this problem is part of a wider destruction is evident in the fact that women account for 50% in the medical schools. We are supposed to think this is good, but what does it do to us? A woman who chooses a career like medicine should not be a mother. She cannot do justice to both and she should have the decency to admit it. It is destructive to our families for women to supplant our men in the professions. Men need the work to fill their responsibilities as breadwinners and fathers. Women are best in their role as mothers; all other endeavors are a poor second. Your suggestion that Americans leave the country for their education may be a solution for a time, but if I am right that there is an orchestrated, destructive process afoot, then that solution will be limited. It is much like the problem that white South Africans and Rhodesians had when black rule came to their countries. The formerly British subjects were not allowed to go to England as refugees. At the same time, England was accepting every Pakistani, Indian, and Jamaican as immigrants, and likely would have taken black South Africans before letting the whites in. If the program is to discourage white males from entering medical school, then those in charge will find a way to close the loopholes. All of this says nothing about the loss to Americans of their men, their own kind who would be expected to have more concern for the health and well-being of their own people, and to have altruism rather than the cold materialism we have come to expect from those who come for the money.

Unfortunately, neither papist nor Christian s/himself, Impatient may not yet realize that -- courtesy of Ayn Rand and other intellectual and spiritual saboteurs during the cultural Maoism effort priming us for the Sexual Revolution against the Family of the 60s -- most "American" males had already abandoned some time ago those altruistic precepts on which a sane and genuinely Christian society (as extension of the Christian family) was based.
It's particularly strange a non-Christian posting at LF, of all places, wouldn't already understand well what Tom DeLay is touting when he tells the Strategic Planning Institute that we need bring to bear the "saving graces of western materialism" in our continuing struggle to beat the murderous, atheist Chicoms capitalists at their own game.

I do hope that he lets it lapse as of the February 18th (?) domain-renewal expiration date. The guy let a promising Forum go to shit. For that, he should be pilloried.

I don't see how you can say it's "no longer" worth visitign when the place has been fixated on its own navel and completely wacked since the get-go.
I miss CommiesOut and Pariahville more than John Deere. Quite frankly, I find the whole missing founder scenario very apt -- particularly for a group of little Lord of the Flies libertopians -- in this post-patriarchal, fatherless Age.

As for his "running" thread, that's probably been archives along with the rest of the early forum. They don't have the capacity to keep threads online (and somewhat searchable) while still keeping the forum from crashing.
Which is one reason (now that I've been officically banned from FR as opposed to just having my posts disappear all the time), I need to find someplace else to post stuff I'd actually like to stick to the wall for a while.
Some good posters and substantive information still available at LF if you look hard enough but there's just no point in writing stuff in the sand, however much I enjoy "Celebration of the Temporary" as a rule.
