I don't watch the History Channel, except when channel surfing and it catches my attention. Last Easter, I was watching a movie produced by Evangelicals of the life of Jesus. The commercial breaks were for a male erection drug.
I just watched a show on cannibalism, "Cannibals." They pointed out that Columbus coined the word Cannibal. But, then the History Channel dismissed all claims that the natives of America practiced cannibalism. Great effort was made to lead the viewer believe that the stories were just lies by the white man to dehumanize Indians for mistreatment.
The self-styled documentary then claimed that Cannibalism "flourished" among the hypocritical Europeans in Columbus's day in the form of medicine. Body and blood was seen as a cure for almost anything, the show claimed. Numerous crude drawings were shown to illustrate the alleged practice. I am sure the drawings were created just for the show, with the crudeness an attempt to leave the impression that they were created in Columbus's day, as evidence of such a practice
The show went on to Africa, where they seemed confused with the message they wanted to give the viewer. At times, they were trying to imply that there was no cannibalism in Africa. At other times, they tried to present cannibalism as an advanced form of civilization. A leftist expert on a tribe that practiced cannibalism into the 20th century explained that to these people, it was barbaric to bury the dead and let the insects and worms eat the bodies. She said burial to them was as offensive as cannibalism is to us. She then complained that whites forced an end to this practice by withholding aid. She didn't explain why such a noble people were so needy that they would adopt a savage and disgusting practice as burial just for some handouts, nor do I think any aid was ever contingent on ending the practice.
But, I got the message. "Whites bad. Non-whites good." In our society, that's the most important message for all of us to learn.

You mean the History Channel actually has programs other than about Hitler??! I (and many others as well) always thought of it as the "Hitler Channel".

The "History" Channel is a concept right out of Orwell's nightmarish classic [I]1984[/I].
Reprogramming minds, [I]a la[/I] Big Brother, by re-writing the past in order to control the minds of the future citizenry. It's done, like the "History" Channel does it, by repeating gargantuan lies over and over and over and over again until there's no more challenges to it's legitmacy.
The "History" Channel is probably the most frightening program I've ever witnessed in my life.

I turned on the History channel again. The show: Modern Marvals: Torture Devices.
Part of the show covered the Roman cross used for executions. A discussion of Jesus followed. It was explained that Romans crucified people for challenging Roman authority. Then they identified that as the reason Jesus was executed. The Bible clearly says that Roman authorities found no fault in Jesus, and that Jesus was executed because of the insistence of the Jews. Jews were never mentioned.
They should call themselves the Rewritten History Channel.

I'm surprised they didn't mention the modern day cannibalism of the tribes of New Guinea. The practise was responsible for the outbreak of "kuru" (a disease similar to CJD) which can only be transmitted from one person to another by eating their brains.

Right on brother! Any day now I expect to see the history channel change its' name to " The Dirty Old Germans" channel. Also, did you ever notice that the [COLOR=DarkRed][B]true[/B][/COLOR] masters of horror, the Japanese, seem to get a free ride? I wonder why?

That's the function of the History Channel, to obfuscate the truth, supplant true History with fabrication and deception, and implant guilt and identity crisis into the forming minds of whites, or anyone else with an objective mind on a real search for the truth. But especially whites. They always push the Jew-Zionist point of view. It's not History at all, it's 24-7 propaganda, courtesy of it's owner, Disney Corporation, as u probably are aware, which also owns ABC, ESPN, Discovery Channel, and many others. Look at Discovery Channel. They have 3 types of shows now. 1) homosexual home remodeling, or the woman who is supposedly the best carpenter 2) machine shop soap operas which teach you nothing like Orange County Choppers and others, namely "white guys just wanna build souped-up cars while we rule the world" and 3) so-called forensic file show re-runs, cuz itz all about saving the shekels. But the History Channel takes the prize for blantant over the top liberalism, revisionism, cheap hollywood re-enactments, drolled out narrations designed to lull you into believing the junk, and scumbag " intellectuals" who only made it because they play the game and get the crumbs off the table like obedient dogs licking the feet of their masters who run the show. They have disparaged and dragged to the ground ( while offering no evidence at all ) every Western/White historical figure from Columbus to Christ to The Founders. ( they also make Hitler look like a cartoon character, not a man who led the greatest nation in Europe ) They never seek to understand, to penetrate, to present objectively.the real history of the age, all they care about is conveying a flashy question mark and implant heinous lies in viewers' minds as fast as possible in between the hard-on commercials. Their spin doctors sit down and say " ok, this is what WE want to SAY. How can we dress this up ? How can we put lipstick on the pig ? " Ever see a show against Stalin or Communist Russia ? Noo.. Mao ? Noo.. Any scientists other than Einstein ? Noo. Any truly respected Professor or widely acclaimed author ? Noo. Any foreign points of view ? Noo ! It's a Jewish Communist propaganda machine, all it is. This is what happens when Jews control the media in this " country ".
