National Vanguard: Our Cause Reborn
A new forward-looking organization is founded: National Vanguard will use proven principles to uncompromisingly stand for White people.
RECENT EVENTS within the National Alliance have rapidly come to a head, and this letter is meant to fill you in on what the latest developments are.
A Declaration, which scores of leading activists signed nation-wide demanding fundamental change at the top of the National Alliance, was rejected out of hand by Erich Gliebe and Shaun Walker. ( [url]http://www.nationalvanguard.org/story.php?id=4913[/url] )
Gliebe and Walker refused to accept the Declaration, address any of the serious issues raised, or engage in dialogue with the reformers. Instead, they immediately labeled the dissent a "coup," launched a vile personal smear campaign, and expelled all of the Alliance's activist cadre. Ironically, Erich Gliebe has since resigned his Chairmanship in favor of Shaun Walker. (This changes nothing, by the way: Gliebe and Walker still jointly control the Board, with no oversight or checks and balances.)
Given the unreasonable nature of the Gliebe-Walker cabal's "response," the membership of the National Alliance is left with no option other than to reconstitute the organization under a new name -- National Vanguard -- with accountable organizational norms and a leadership in tune with the membership and willing and able to facilitate their hard work.
This bold, exciting initiative will allow the members to build an organization that provides stability, coherence and relevance in keeping with the new demands of a new century.
Our new organization, National Vanguard, is being formed now. A number of key activists nation-wide will form a Board of Directors and in the coming weeks issue new bylaws taking into account the concerns of members. The new BOD will also institute a leadership structure that is flexible, accountable, and effective. In the meantime, American Dissident Voices will continue to appear on NationalVanguard.org, and that site will continue to function as a source for news and updates on the new organization.
Individual units will continue to function as before. Unit Coordinators (UCs) should hold an information meeting for members as soon as possible to explain the recent changes. A leadership brief has been prepared and will be sent to all UCs containing vital information to present to members. UCs should also have membership applications on hand at their meeting. National Vanguard is a forward-looking organization, and as such is not interested in gratuitous gossip or mudslinging against the National Alliance. Those few people who choose to remain with the rump of the organization are likely to join National Vanguard when the dust settles, and all members are asked to keep that in mind: kindness and magnanimity should be our watchwords. Similarly, National Vanguard is not an "anti-Shaun Walker club" open to anyone simply opposed to the old NA leadership. National Vanguard is a new organization and has no desire to engage in "turf wars" or carry the baggage of past conflicts.
These are exciting times, and with hard work and determination National Vanguard will succeed in its mission.

As an occasional contributor to National Vanguard magazine's on-line edition, I am one of the publicly listed signatories of the petition calling for the dismissal of then-Chief Operations Officer Shaun Walker and then-National Chairman Erich Gliebe, so my position is clear (and I can only assume there is a rumpled, coffee-stained sheet of unlined paper misfiled somewhere in Hillsboro that denotes the fact I have been formally expelled from the rump National Alliance (mis)led by the Walker/Gliebe cabal, although I do not anticipate being notified of my dismissal, as they are no doubt hoping I will continue to send in my $120 annual membership dues; on the contrary, the annual membership dues for National Vanguard are $144, and I shall be sending them in later this month).
Since the Walker/Gliebe cabal came to utterly dominate the National Office, and drive away most of the non-toadies (though some good people have chosen to continue working there, while keeping their unhappy thoughts to themselves; legitimate dissent among the National Office staff is invariably punished by immediate dismissal and same-day eviction from the on-site employee housing, in characteristically martinet fashion), Gliebe has sold off some of the undeveloped National Office acreage in order to finance his purchase of an expensive, luxury vehicle (with leather seats that heat up when you start the ignition in the morning, no less). He has been constantly cavorting about with strippers in various low-brow centers of pornographic entertainments, which are also well-known as centers of illegal prostitution and the felonious sale of recreational narcotics (he has just married one of the strippers, a fact which serves as the official basis for his resignation last Monday, i.e. even Gliebe is apparently aware the National Chairman can't be married to a constantly intoxicated stripper who is on the National Office staff payroll, but who does not seem to do any actual work) and actually deems it appropriate to allow himself to be photographed wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the words "PORN STAR." Shaun Walker has used National Alliance funds to take a grand tour of the capitals and cultural centers of western, central and eastern Europe, which was cynically billed as some sort of "outreach tour." The article detailing this trip in the Monthly Members Bulletin contained numerous spelling and punctuation errors, and even repeated one man's name twice in a row (even a very rudimentary proof reading should have caught that, not to mention the use of, say, the Microsoft Word spelling & grammar check feature). The weekly American Dissident Radio broadcasts, in the wake of the ludicrous and destructive dismissal of then-Media Director Mr. Kevin Alfred Strom, have been extremely amateurish in their technical production values, such as featuring a constantly occillating level of auditory volume, and are both poorly written and poorly spoken. Erich Gliebe has been widely noted as pausing in the wrong places, and emphasizing/accenting the incorrect words/syllables, and generally giving the listener the impression that the broadcast is being read by an ADL-cast, sub-literate goofball of limited intelligence and, at best, marginal education (perhaps an accurate impression, alas). The enormous progress the National Allance has made in the nearly three years since the tragic and potentially disruptive death of Dr. William Pierce, via the activism of individual members, and particularly due to the vigorous efforts of the membership of the more active Local Units (such as Boston, Tampa, Phoenix, Denver, Omaha, Sacramento, and certainly other Local Units to whom I am doing an inadvertent disservice by failing to note), has all come [I]IN SPITE[/I] of the so-called "leadership" in Hillsboro.
The Walker/Gliebe cabal have been regarded as incompetent (or perhaps simply irresponsible and unreliable) by a great many of us for a rather long time, but we were all prudently hesitant to say or do anything which might have jepoardized NA unity (although ex-Membership Coordinator David Pringle did, in retrospect, wisely and courageously accept dismissal from his post, due to his refusal to remain silent in the face of the degeneracy he was forced to bear witness to in Hillsboro; it is very much to be hoped, and frankly rather expected, that the able Mr. Pringle will soon be joining National Vanguard, and he may well have done so already). Finally, we reached the point, when then-Media Director Kevin Alfred Strom and then-Bakersfield, California Proto-Unit Coordinator Ms. April Gaede (a lovely and personable woman of my repeated acquaintance, who's dedication and loyalty can simply not be challenged by any sane and honest person aware of the facts of her fantastic volume of patriotic efforts on behalf of her European-descended folk; she is probably the single most visible and effective pro-White female activist in North America (and was formally recognized as such via her receipt of the recently instituted Queen Isabella Prize); I certainly know of no others who could even arguably be said to have surpassed her heroism, though the rank of female activists directly below Ms. Gaede is awash with numerous ladies, and even a few girls, from Anchorage to Miami, who have an enormous track record of effective public activism for which they should be proud) were summarily and capriciously expelled from the ranks of NA membership upon the basis of Gliebe's (or was it Walker's? No one seems to know for sure) unsubstantiated and totally ridiculous charge that their very legitimate and widely representative (not to mention politely worded) inquiries into the managerial and financial status of the National Office operations constituted, laughably, "an atempted coup." Nearly every significant NA regional official, public activist, writer, and other members of various note, have ALREADY rejected the rump National Alliance of the Gliebe/Walker cabal, and enthusiastically embraced the authentic extension of the life's work of Dr. William Pierce, i.e. the new National Vanguard association.
Simply put, there is very little controversy at this stage. I suppose, now that the Walker/Gliebe cabal has dissolved the NA membership, they can seek to elect a new membership. Perhaps they will invite Alex Linder, Lucky Linstedt, and some ex-con Klansmen to go on a nationwide tour of "lap dancing" joints. I should probably refrain from such unkind speculations, but it is frankly tempting to inject the occasional dose of righteous venom into a fracas which only came into being due to the seemingly treasonous dereliction of duty, incompetence, sloth, and outright thievery that the National Office regime has been characterized by in the wake of the post-Pierce era. In reality, however, the fight is already over, and Mr. Strom, Ms. Gaede, Mr. Stojkovich, the Executive Commitee, and the other Pierce loyalists, have won the day by virtue of their en masse muster under the [url=http://www.NationalVanguard.org]National Vanguard[/url] banner. While they may not be astute enough to have yet realized it, although they soon will, the Walker/Gliebe cabal has already been driven from the field. What few members they yet retain, who are generally the least active ones, and are thus largely unaware of the previous two weeks events, will soon be joining us in National Vanguard as well, once they catch up with the news curve.
I wish Gliebe and Walker the very best of success in their future careers with the Amway Corporation (or was it Enron?)

Very true Kevin. I've seen so many WNs organizations break up in the past and dissolve into oblivion. It's refreshing to know that we have built an organization that can withstand any internal or external calamity and keep on moving forward in spite of them. I have worked closely with Rich Lindstrom for a few years now and know that he's a great choice for the new Board. I'm sure the others are too.
