In World War Two, minority Jews constituted a disproportionately large number of senior officers in Communist Russia's armed forces. More than seventy held the rank of General alone.

And this:

'If not for the Red Army, there would be no Jews in Europe today, nor in Palestine, nor in Africa; and in the United States of America, the length of our existence would be counted in days...The Soviet Union has saved the Jewish people. Therefore let the American Jewish masses never forget our historic debt to the saviour of the Jewish people the Soviet Union.' ~Alexander Bittelman~

The German Armies fought against such Soviet and Jewish insurgence.

Shamefully - America backed the wrong people. And paid for it ever since in financial terms. You have paid for such stupidity.

Let us be clear of thought: it is the purpose of Britain to divide Europe. It is to English benefit. History informs us of that.

And in recent history, when Britain is near defeat (WWI and WWII) they bring America into the conflict.

But understand this: the German Infantry was the best-of-the-best. No British, no Russian and no American army could defeat them.

And when you gang-up together: you have no honour. And deserve no honour. For many of you do not know what a soldier is.

Mentzer[/QUOTE] Hi

War is a "winner take all" preposition. The fantasy of Marquis de Queensbury rules a nice fiction to cast a veil over the horrors of war as a means to an end.

If Hitler was so damned smart, why did he not form, as Biamarck might have, an alliance where he was 3, US, France, Germany, and Russia/England were 2. Failure at the grand strategic level. US was full of Red Haters in the 1930's.

His real war aim, from the get go, (OK, depends on who you read) was the dreaded USSR/Russia. He took the French out to keep his back door secure. His political ineptness vis a vis America did not help his main aim, which was the fused ethnic-political war against the Slav untermensch, the slav Communists, the Slav in general.

I have to agree with you on at least one point. Pound for pound, the Wermacht was the best trained bunch, had the best combined arms doctrine, got the most out of their tools. Current US Army still studies Wermacht -- auftragstaktic, Manstein's campaigns, Rommel's use of infantry -- as examples of "how to get it right" from the technical and tactical perspective.

That said, War is not a fair fight. Never has been. A duel of champions can be a fair fight, as can a boxing match. Not War. That is a game played only to win.
