Prior to the Internet one of the finest pro-White, Tribe-wise, underground journals in America was the magazine Instauration--published in Florida by Wilmot Robertson, who had written the pivotal Dispossessed Majority.
I first heard of Instauration when Joe Sobran praised it publicly and was loudly decried by the usual suspects... :thumbsup:
Any other former subscribers/contributors here? Remember "The Safety Valve"; "Talking Numbers"; "Cholly Bilderberger"; the Marv & Willie cartoons--Satcom Sam?

Copies of this magazine are harder to find than hen's teeth. I've never seen one. But I am a proud owner of DM, the single greatest book about "our thing" (as a sympathetic fellow attorney calls it) ever written. Better than anything written by Taylor, Duke, McDonald, Rushton, Griffin, Coon, Yockey, Simpson, Raspail, you name it. Pure elegance.

Robertson wrote two other books (that I know of)--Ventilations and The Ethnostate...both rare, sublime classics.

Sobran came under especially vicious attack for a May 1986 column that included a few words of qualified praise for Instauration, Wilmot Robertson's hard-hitting monthly journal. Sobran called it "an often brilliant magazine, covering a beat nobody ease will touch, and doing so with intelligence, wide-ranging observation and bitter wit." In its almost twelve years of publication Instauration has frequently cast doubt on the Holocaust story and has sun numerous sympathetic reports on the achievements and travails of the Institute for Historical Review...

Every schoolboy is or should be familiar with the year 1492, the year of the (re)discovery of the New world by Christopher Columbus, a Genoese in the service of the Spanish monarchs, Ferdinand and Isabella. For Spain, 1492 was to be the most important year in its history, as well as one of the most important in world history. It was the year the Spanish nation was consolidated, the year when the splendorous Spanish State took center stage in the political evolution of the West. In the beginning of the year, on January 2, after a long siege, the army of the Spanish monarchs marched into the city of Granada, thus reconquering the last of the real estate seized by the Arabs and moors seven centuries earlier. Then, on March 31, the Catholic monarchs signed a royal edict that ordered all Jews in Spain to convert to Christianity or ship out. Five months later Columbus sailed out of the Spanish port of Palos hoping to discover a new route to the Indies. His tiny fleet passed boats loaded with Jews sorrowfully complying with Ferdinand and Isabella's expulsion order.
In this 500th anniversary of Columbus's epochal voyage, much of the celebration has been marred by media inspired attacks on Spain for her "cruelty" and "foolishness" in expelling Jews. No one seemed to care what was done to the Muslims, who were also given the choice of conversion or expulsion a few years later, just as no one these days seems to care much about what was done to non-Jews in WWII German and Soviet concentration camps, where the death toll of Gentiles was probably ten times greater than the number of Jewish fatalities. Actually, any Jew who converted to Christianity was perfectly free to stay in Spain. Those who left could take all their earthly possessions with them, except gold and silver coins and trinkets.
The current media story line is that the Spanish, in a fit of blind religious fanaticism, cut off their noses to spite their faces by kicking out the clever and enterprising Jewish community. Having heard these tearful tales over and over again, history buffs could be forgiven for thinking that only mass insanity could have led Spaniards to commit such an enormous gaffe. Jews, today's spin doctors insist, were the cultural and economic backbone of Spain, the most educated and verbal segment of the population. Only greed, envy, ignorance and Christian bigotry could possibly explain this act of pure folly. Once again, a peaceful, unoffending people were driven out into the cold because of the heartlessness of their wicked neighbors. But that is not the end of the story! As is almost always the case, there was a price to be paid for persecuting the Jews. The price for Spain, according to the Jewish version of history, was its decline and fall, following the loss of so much Jewish brainpower and the economic and cultural benefits which Spain's rivals, Portugal and Holland, received from swarms of Jewish refugees.
Per usual, when it comes to Jews, the story they tell is, shall we say, at variance with the facts. Fourteen hundred and ninety-two was the year Spanish civilization took off like a rocket. Within a century or two, Cervantes was writing Don Quixote; Velasquez was painting his incomparable portraits; Caldern was writing his brilliant plays. It almost seemed as if the presence of the Jews had kept Spanish culture under wraps and their forced removal unloosed tremendous bursts of artistic, literary and economic energy. (Might it be possible that the same unshackling of cultural forces would produce similar results if the Jews left the U. S.?) In A History of Medieval Spain, Professor Joseph F. O'Callaghan provides us with perhaps the most scholarly and precise treatment of Spanish history in the time between the Arab conquest and the moors' surrender of Granada. Spain had its origins in the Roman Empire. The Roman provinces in what is now Spain and Portugal furnished the Empire with some of its greatest emperors. With the fall of Rome, Spain was transformed into a kingdom of Visigoths, one of the German tribes which had inherited remnants of the Empire. The Visigothic kings were Christianized and ruled over a population comprised partly of Nordics and largely of mediterraneans, with a heavy sprinkling of Jews. Later, when the Arabs imposed Islam on Spain, the composition of the population was not greatly changed. The overwhelming majority of Arabs and Spaniards belonged to the Mediterranean race, though Nordic racial traits, such as fair complexions and blue eyes (Isabella had them), were discernible in the ruling circles of both peoples. Some Nordic genes had been implanted by the Vandals who swept through Spain before the Visigoths and fought their way as far as Tunis in North Africa. Here, it might also be noted, that the Muslim rulers and caliphs of Spain were not exactly cultural throwbacks. The Alhambra Palace in Granada is the most beautiful and most graceful pleasure dome to be found on any continent. In 675 the Muslims launched their first raid on Spain, which was repulsed by the Visigothic fleet. By 711, the Arabs had conquered North Africa and were ready to invade Western Europe. In only 21 years they penetrated as far north as Tours in France before being defeated and thrown back by the Franks under Charles Martel.
The reasons for the woefully poor showing of the Visigoths vis-ÃÂ -vis the Arab invaders had to do with treason in high places. As O'Callaghan remarks, "Certainly the Jews and others who had suffered under Visigothic rule welcomed the invaders as liberators and collaborated with them." As O'Callaghan also points out, perhaps to avoid endangering his academic standing, the Jewish renegadism was justified by the "disorder" of the Visigothic Kingdom. The reconquest of Spain started in the rugged mountains' of Asturias in northern Spain. There a Visigothic knight, Pelayo, refused to bow down to the Muslims and won the first battle in a 700-year-war between Islam and Christianity. The Reconquista, as it is known, was a glorious era in the history of the West. A proud and fierce people would be tried and tested in a thousand battles. The Jews, as is their custom, quickly burrowed into the Arab fabric of Spain. Generally preferring Muslim to Christian overlords, the People of the Book were allowed to practice their religion without interference and became key elements in Muslim society. It need hardly be added that the Christians who had suffered from Jewish moneymen in Visigothic times, came to loathe them more than ever in Muslim Spain.
By the 11th century the situation in Spain had become fluid, with the Christians slowly nibbling back parts of their lost lands, while constantly under the threat of fierce Muslim counterattacks. It is not surprising that the eternal "middlemen" should rise to the surface in these troubled times. In both the Muslim and Christian parts of Spain, Jews engaged in all their age-old occupational specialties: usury, the slave trade, prostitution, tax "farming" (contracts to collect taxes for the kings and nobles), the law, medicine, administration and any other type of employment that required little or no physical labor. Worst of all from the point of view of the pious Christian population, they were able to infiltrate the church in large numbers. It was this last activity that led to their downfall. As Muslim power waned, Jews relied more and more on the expanding Christian kingdoms of Spain to provide them with their customary perks. Employed by Spanish monarchs in the most sensitive matters of state, especially in finance, Jews never had it so good since the good old days of Solomon. The Chosen, however, could not enter the church without converting. It was not too long before true Christians realized that the Christianity of most "New Christians" was only skin deep. That converted Jews mocked the Christian religion, celebrated Jewish feast days, and were slowly and subtly introducing Talmudic themes into Christian theology were open secrets. It was no wonder they came to be viewed as a hostile element, busy weakening the Christian nation in the very face of the Muslim enemy.
High-Octane Religiosity
In the Middle Ages religion was the fault line of the world. In the same way that the West fought communism in this century, so the Christian West fought the power of Islam in those crucial years. Religion was central to all aspects of life, there being no such thing as a secular state. It is a waste of words to argue that Christian Spain should have made room for Jews and Muslims. Such an accommodation was quite out of the question in the Age of Faith. When Spain expelled the Jews, England, France and other European nations had long since sent them on their way, for approximately the same reasons. The main difference was that the number of Jews and their influence and affluence in Spain were vastly greater than elsewhere in Europe. Ironically the European nations that would later condemn Spain for expelling Jews were the first to voice suspicion of Spain's "purity" because it had been "defiled" by the presence of so many Jews and Muslims. Queen Isabella agreed up to a point. She knew very well that as long as Jews remained in her kingdom they would constitute a political, cultural, philosophical and theological fifth column, not to mention a military liability in the event of a Muslim attempt to retake what they had lost-a scary scenario that was always a possibility.
Isabella and her husband, Ferdinand, knew in their hearts that only by building one undivided and indivisible Spain could they carry out the tremendous task they had set for themselves. They understood what we seem to have forgotten: You cannot build a nation out of disparate population groups widely separated by culture and religion. Either Jews and Muslims would leave or renounce their faith, or Spain, as a united Christian country, would never endure. Although Jews are not a race, they act like a race and should be treated as one. Anthropologically speaking, they are various mixtures of the Nordic, Alpine and Mediterranean races, with a few distinctive facial traits showing up in many of them. Isabella's relying on religion to define a Jew may have been adequate in her day, but it would be wide of the mark in 1992. Today, in the U.S. about 70% of Jews are non-religious.
The Jews in the Christian Spain aborning were not fools. They were quite aware that popular sentiment was rising against them. Fighting back in any way they could, they bribed powerful and corrupt nobles and worked their way into high positions in the government and church. All in vain. In 1391 massive anti-Jewish pogroms broke out across Spain. In that year, thousands of Jews were killed in Aragon and Castile. In the words of O'Callaghan:
Hostility towards the Jews had often been manifested in the past, chiefly because of their involvement in money-lending and tax-farming. Complaints about Jewish usury and Jewish tax collectors occur again and again in the records of the Cones [the Spanish parliament or assembly] . . . . Though the Crown usually promised to attend to these complaints, Jews continued to figure prominently in the management of royal finances. The riots of 1391 spelled the beginning of the end for Spanish Jewry, although it would still hold on for another hundred years. The simple truth was that Spain had outgrown Jews, just as it had outgrown Muslims. The Jews, as stated previously, had no part to play in Spain's great years, which, some cynics say, is why Spain had its "great years." The Encyclopaedia Britannica (1963 edition, vol. 2 1, p. 122) adds: "The tide of national enthusiasm, religious fanaticism and indignation at Jewish financial operations reached its high-water mark about three months after the fall of Granada. . . ." Apparently there were early-bird milkens and Boeskys in the ranks of Spanish Jewry. Professor Philip W. Powell, in his book, The Tree of Hate (published in 1985) attributes the expulsion of the Jews to a religious conflict between Judaism and Christianity. He is not afraid to meet the issue of anti-Semitism head on: 'The very misleading term of 'anti-Semitism' is so carelessly, or malevolently, tossed about these days that it virtually has no meaning except as a convenient rock to hurl in anger--but, like a rock, it can hurt." He goes on to say: The Jews'] impassioned opinions hamper the writing of fair and unbiased accounts of Spain. Jewish emotion, when aroused by historical memory of [the] Spanish Inquisition and expulsion, exaggerates and distorts, and certainly gives little shrift to the Spanish side of the story .... Jewish writers are aided by a popular opinion, much of it created by themselves, which for centuries has influenced writing upon these themes.
Powell points out that while it is true that all the 165,000 or so Jews who refused to give up Judaism were expelled in 1492, many more chose to stay and converted. Those who only converted superficially underwent various forms of capital punishment. Jews and other writers of anti-Spanish tendencies, have preferred to focus attention upon these Spanish crimes as a means of demonstrating Spanish cruelty and bigotry. The usual groundwork for this is a morality of later centuries applied to 15th and 16th century historical situations, without that sense of justice so essential to historical interpretations. Or, sometimes more simply, it may come from the well-known Jewish propensity for cultural replenishment out of martyrdom. Professor Powell gets to the nitty-gritty in these words: But the majority of the Spanish people, witnessing [all the] evidence of Jewish-Converso influence . . . . and simply the numbers of Jews daily discernible in the population would, and did, view the situation with antagonism.
Explaining that this antagonism sometimes led to mob attacks on Jews, Powell dryly adds, "If there was anything uniquely Spanish in all this, it was not intolerance or bigotry, but rather a notable forbearance in comparison to the ways the Jewish problem was handled elsewhere in Europe."
Inquisition Hype
The chief purpose of the Spanish Inquisition, established in 1480, was to ensure that Jews did not create a "state within a state." The Inquisition was a defense of the monarchy and a defense against treason. Many European states applauded its creation as a needed step to rein in Jewish power. Whatever the Inquisition was to become once the Jews had gone, it served its primary purpose in ridding Spain of a hostile force of infiltrators and subversives at a time when the church and nation were in grave danger. The ferocity of the Spanish Inquisition may well stem from the fact that it was in large part staffed by Jewish converts, who amply demonstrated that they had lost none of their innate venom by switching religions. Jewish converts who fell all over themselves to prove their loyalty to their new faith were the driving force behind the grim and fanatical persecution of other Jews. Tomas de Torquemada, the ferocious inquisitor General, who sent so many of his brethren to the stake, is said to have been of Jewish descent. No less an authority than Salvador de madariaga, one of modern Spain's leading intellectuals, holds to the view that the peculiar intolerance of the Spanish Inquisition can be traced, in part, to the presence of Jewish converts in its highest ranks. Madariaga, by the way, made up for this "anti-Semitic" opinion by stating that Columbus was a converso, but not necessarily a Marrano (pig in Spanish), a derogatory term for a convert who practiced Judaism secretly. Several Jewish scholars, including the non-scholars of Time magazine, have accused King Ferdinand of being "part Jewish," though they never satisfactorily explain where the Jewish genes came from.
To sum up, Spain's expulsion of the Jews was logical, rational and, for the times, not overly cruel-far less cruel than what modern Jews have done and continue to do to the Palestinians. The Spanish have no need to apologize for their actions in freeing their nation from a harmful internal enemy. The Jews resented their expulsion, as they have resented other forced exoduses in their history. The truth is, contemporary Jews should not blame Spain for their ancestors' misfortunes five centuries ago. They need only to look in the mirror.

"It is openly and almost unremittingly hostile to blacks, Jews, and Mexicans and Oriental immigrants," he acknowledged, but called Instauration "an often brilliant magazine covering a beat nobody else will touch, and doing so with intelligence, wide-ranging observation and bitter wit."
Instauration, for its part, praised "The Brave Pen of Joseph Sobran" with this endorsement (9/85): "The man has repeatedly defended white racial pride and solidarity, despite the mounting campaign to get him."*

IMPRESSION MANAGEMENT FOR THE THINKING RACIST: A Case Study of Intellectualization as Stigma TransformatioN in Contemporary White Supremacist Discourse
Contemporary white supremacists have been working to publicly legitimate their movement. This article presents a case study of the magazine Instauration and its editor, Wilmot Robertson. The study indicates how "new racist" white supremacists present a discourse of "stigma transformation." First, I introduce Instauration and Robertsonââ¬â¢s books and review his longstanding efforts to present an intellectualized rhetoric of racism and white supremacy. I then analyze other impression-management techniques suggested in these writings. Both Robertson and contributors to Instauration proffer techniques to neutralize and/or transform the stigma of "racism." I discuss some of the broader implications of racism that is framed as intellectual argumentation.

Revolt of the Little People INSTAURATION-June 1996
The following is an article that appeared in Instauration Magazine in the mid 1990s; it dealt with how racially conscious Whites might function under a hostile government and hostile mass media. Though the situation has changed a little, we are no longer facing a uniform "liberal" anti White establishment. Instead it is more of a corrupt, lying neo conservative anti White establishment. But, otherwise the recommendations for strategy are sound: we need independent cells of activists and a pro White counter culture that rejects the anti White government and mass media.

Revolt of the Little People
Richard Cohen is a columnist for the Washington Post, easily the most sinister of all U.S. newspapers. The N.Y. Times, burdened by greater intellectual pretensions and prestige, is forced to slap on a somewhat thicker veneer of impartiality. Newsweek and Time have lurched so far into the anti White minority racist camp that their credibility has all but evaporated. No thinking person sees either of them as anything but slop for the grunting masses as they line up at the Establishment feeding trough for their weekly dose of multicultural, multiracial, New World Order swill.
The Washington Post is the preferred tool of the most vicious and dangerous of the American White Majority's enemies. It is a newspaper that has as its sole objective empowering the alien dominated elite that has come close to ruining our nation. Richard Cohen, one of the most pampered and, in his own way, talented scribblers at the Post, is famous for his sneering arrogance and disdain for bona fide Americans, their problems, their beliefs and their values. In a recent column he had the awesome effrontery to ridicule millions of White Majority Americans for their "anger" at the current predicament of their country. Cohen wrote that the reason for their anger is their ignorance. Not knowing how great things really are, they are acting liked spoiled children, demanding candy after gorging themselves on the contents of the cookie jar.
This story line is becoming increasingly common. One network TV anchor had the nerve to chide the American people for acting like two-year-olds having a tantrum when they threw out the Democratic White Majority in Congress in 1994. The American people, say the liberaloids, are a bunch of silly ninnies who care nothing about the wonderful world the liberals have built for them. I predict that this will soon become the liberal-anti White minority mantra.
There is a reason for this sudden explosion of schoolmarmish finger-wagging. Liberals sense that a mutiny is brewing under their Gucci loafers. Although they hear the faint rumblings and even feel the heat through the soles of their shoes, they haven't a clue as to what is really happening on the lower decks.
In all such situations liberals have found it to be ridiculously easy to divert, co-opt, sidetrack, take over, buy off or simply stonewall White Majority movements. The techniques they used were varied, but all were supremely successful. They would bribe the leadership of a White Majority activist group or pull out the old tar bucket. If members of the group proved immune to blandishments, moles were introduced to disrupt the movement with crudely staged acts that would unloose tidal waves of negative publicity that ridicule and tarnish movement personalities. Violence would be resorted to only if things really looked like they were getting out of control.
Washington elitists honestly believe that they are superior persons -morally, mentally, politically. They are outraged when ordinary Americans reject their "leadership,' blaming it on the craziness, stupidity and immorality of White Majorityites. The scorn and contempt which liberals hold for average American whites is part and parcel of their psychological landscape.
The Nightingale's Song by Robert Timberg is a recently published book that explores the lives of five men who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and who later went on to become major public figures (Senator John McCain, Ollie North, Robert McFarlane, James Webb and John Poindexter). The book contains the most interesting and perceptive examination of the moral wasteland of the liberal mind that I have ever read. in explaining the monstrous and massive evasion of military service by liberals and their sympathizers during the Vietnam War, the author explains with amazing clarity their sick, warped, utterly dishonorable world. At best a moderate himself, the author is an honest man who tries to give the liberals an even break, but whose conscience forced him to tell the truth. Every lnstaurationist should read this book, if he wants to know what kind of people we are and, more importantly, what kind they are. The book will make it easy to understand the current shrieks of outrage from the liberals about the revolt of the little people.
Back in the 1960s, one of the leaders of the so-called extreme right sat down amid the rubble of the proto White Majority movement, largely smashed by the aggressive tactics of Mr. Hoover's FBI. The rightist leader pondered what had gone wrong. How could a movement with such promise have been so completely destroyed? The answer was that a sophisticated secret police organization had infiltrated it and gnawed away the clandestine elements of the movement. At the same time, the Establishment wrecked the overt elements through the power of the media and the effective use of liberal-anti White minority networking.
After considering the problem, the rightist leader decided that the only way to combat the tactics of the FBI was to essentially build a vast system of independent, local, celIs," none of them connected in any real way to a central organization that could be infiltrated or manipulated by paid agents of the secret police. The problem with this was how to ensure that all of these independent units would move in the same direction, towards an eventual goal of forming a movement capable of wresting power from the self-styled elite.
The solution was to avoid all contact with the main stream media, set up a "Counterculture" propaganda and political indoctrination network, all within the law, but all adopting a general line similar enough to allow the diffusion of a coherent national political philosophy and plan of action countrywide. it would be slow, it would be difficult but it would eventually be effective and would be virtually impossible for the Establishment to silence.
Now, in 1996, we in the White Majority movement have moved close, very close, to the goal envisioned by that right-wing strategist in the 1960s. The country is crisscrossed with an amorphous constellation of newsletters, bookshops, pundits, columnists, newspapers, magazines and computer bulletin boards that spread the message, in one form or another, across the entire land. The network is so loose that our opponents can't begin to get a grip on it. They don't even understand what is really going on. Their arrogance blinds them to the fact that we have virtually perfected a parallel political information system that is just beginning to have important political consequences.
Liberals talk of all the angry people and snort that those people don't even know what they are angry about. They claim that the "malaise" (remember Jimmy Carter?) that is gripping the country is just a mirage. Why we are in such good shape that we should be dancing on air. In their heart of hearts, however, liberals know that they are way off base. They can't deny that a vast, subterranean beast is flexing its muscles and licking its chops. Guess who is going to be the main course? Liberals are in a state of panic because a huge chunk of the American people has permanently escaped the brainwashing machine so thoughtfully designed for it.
The liberal damage control is in total disarray. As they swing furiously at White Majority activists, they come up with nothing but air.
Friends, pull on your hiking boots and get ready for the long march. This time there will be no easy victories for the other side.

*Who is Wilmot Robertson?
Wilmot Robertson publishes Instauration, a neo-fascist magazine aimed primarily at an academic and educated audience. He also runs his own publishing house and his books are distributed primarily through extremist groups and direct mail order. None of Robertsonââ¬â¢s publications are advertised in mainstream academic journals or mass media. No one simply stumbles upon Robertsonââ¬â¢s publications. To my knowledge, Cattell is the only major academic willing to be forthright about his association with Robertson.
Robertson believes that "the essence of history is the rise and fall of races" (Robertson, The Dispossessed Majority, 1972/1996, p. 535). In the grand design of evolution, one race will ultimately survive to give birth to "a new species, the better-than-man." The race best suited to shoulder this burden is the Northern European. Unfortunately, the "American Majority" has been dispossessed by the Jews who have taken control of American culture (Robertson, 1973, p. 536). His latest work, The Ethnostate argues that the Northern and Western European elements of the population have lost any chance of recapturing America. Robertson, therefore, calls for small ethnically unified "ethnostates." (Robertson, 1992, pp. ix-x). The Ethnostate was called "a timely supplement to the argument of the Beyondist" in the first issue of Cattellââ¬â¢s quarterly (The Beyondist, 1993, p. 2). Cattell, thanks Robertson in the preface of his 1987 monograph, Beyondism: Religion from Science, and Robertson honored Cattell with a cover story and long laudatory review of Beyondism in Instauration (Instauration, 1989, pp. 5-7).

When I began searching for those who understand what has been destroying my beautiful White race and my beloved nation, Wilmot's work was recommended by person after person. I am thankful that Wilmot Robertson has always had the courage to be a beacon of light and truth when so many were and are befuddled by the deceptions and the darkness.

The most truly disadvantaged are those who are hated for their virtues not their vices, who insist on playing the game of life with opponents who have long ago abandoned the rules, who stubbornly go on believing that a set of highly sophisticated institutions developed by and for a particular people at a particular point in time and space is operational for all peoples under all circumstances. . .
So many liberals having become minority racists and so many conservatives having become rootless cranks, so much religion having become social science and so much social science having become intellectual sleight-of-hand, the thoughtful Majority member has nowhere to turn but to himself. This, however, may be his salvation. In isolation the critical faculty cuts deeper. Only now is it possible to understand the tragic and humiliating fate of the American Majority because only now are a few Majority minds, deepened by decades of solitary contemplation and sharpened by the grim chronicle of events, finally tuning to the emergency wavelength of collective survival.
On the surface America appears lost. But the animalization of the body and the brutalization of the spirit, the desecration of the environment, the venality of politics, the drug and homosexual plagues, AIDS, the taste-killing shock waves of pornography, ghetto savagery, the feminist madness, reverse discrimination, the degeneration of the military, the torrents of illegal immigrants, the apostasy of the professors and journalists, the mindlessness of the students, the phobic materialism and Babbittry of their parents--all these, perhaps, are not the irreversible regressions they seem but merely short-term roadblocks or detours on the Great Trek to a higher and more luminous life form. In the sequence of organic rebirth, what is to be done must first be undone. Unthinking must precede rethinking. According to the sine curve of human action, degeneration alternates with regeneration. Quite possibly the present phase is one of reculer pour mieux sauter.
On the hopeful side the chromosomal material, the first and fundamental requirement for an American resurgence, is still in abundant supply. Life scientists and those few social scientists worthy of the name are seething with insights and breakthroughs which cannot help but unbait some of the dogmatic traps that have been deliberately set for the more active Majority intellects. From the raked-over ashes of burnt-out historicism flashes a spark or two of authentic history. There is even the glimmer of a new religion (or the rejuvenation of the old,) in the Promethean utterances and riddles of the new ontology.
At all events, the Majority will soon be out of limbo. There is nowhere for it to go but up--or all the way down. It is really a matter of timing, a race between the encroaching jungle and the ripening harvest. The moon walk may turn out to be the last mile, or the crossing of the Rubicon.

Book Review: The Dispossessed Majority

[The Dispossessed Majority, by Wilmot Robertson]
Like William Gayley Simpson's Which Way Western Man?, Wilmot Robertson's The Dispossessed Majority is an underground racialist classic which has received scant attention from academia and mainstream book reviewers. Biographical information about the author is equally in short supply, but I did discover that he was editor of the now-defunct magazine Instauration, a publication often quoted on VNN. "Wilmot Robertson" is a pen name and we are told on the book's cover only that he is a native of Pennsylvania, from an old colonial family, and that he served as an officer in World War II as well as working in journalism, advertising, and small business. He obviously has an academic background as evidenced by the solid scholarship displayed in this heavily footnoted, 623-page volume.
The Dispossessed Majority was first published in 1972, with later editions copyrighted in 1973, 1976 and 1981. My copy is listed as the Third Revised Edition, Fourth Softcover Printing and I assume it is the latest, but I found it curious that the author makes reference to events occurring as late as 1987: obviously some revisions were made after 1981. Whatever the exact publication date, these revisions blend in almost seamlessly with the earlier narrative. Unlike Simpson, whose book's sections are clearly dated, Robertson's work reads like it was all written at the same time even though it obviously wasn't. But like Simpson, the insights he brings are timeless.
If there were any justice in a sane world, The Dispossessed Majority would be at the top of every liberal arts college reading list, instead of the dreary Marxist and feminist tomes which now hold sway. Unfortunately, the author is usually dismissed as a neo-fascist if indeed he is even acknowledged at all. But his thesis is brilliant, and he supports it in a rational and convincing manner. What is that thesis, in a nutshell? That race -- not economics, not class, not even religion -- is the overriding dynamic determining the rise and fall of civilizations and societies.
Who is The Dispossessed Majority the author is referring to? It is the White, Northern European-descended peoples who founded America but are now being displaced both in numbers and influence by various minorities. Unlike Which Way Western Man?, The Dispossessed Majority focuses specifically on the American political and social experience.
It is frequently objected by our opponents that Whites still enjoy a dominant position in American society in terms of wealth and power. As Robertson notes,
Those inclined to deny the Majority's dispossession may well adopt the following line of questioning. How, they may ask, can the Majority be dispossessed when there are so many rich Americans of impeccable Majority lineage ... when there are so many Majority politicians, writers, artists, lawyers, doctors, scientists and FBI agents ... when the president, most congressmen and most of the governors still belong to the Majority .. when the armed forces are still commanded by a largely Majority officer corps ... when the Majority, still the largest population group, can easily swing the vote? (p. 83)
However, such wealth does not translate into political power, which is today undeniably in the hands of a liberal Minority coalition, the most prominent element of which is jews. There is indeed no Majority political party as such, and despite all of the campaign rhetoric, conservatives and Republicans are at best an anemic opposition. They dare not say the "J" word in public, nor for that matter utter anything even mildly critical of Israel.
Robertson is unafraid to discuss the jewish question, however, and does so quite candidly. He puts forward the concept that jews collectively pursue jewish interests whereas the Majority, most of whom are only vaguely aware of their dispossession, are splintered and individualistic. He briefly noted many of the phenomena that Kevin MacDonald would later write extensively about in Culture of Critique. His chapter on "The Jews" is one of the longest in the book, and he provides an extensive list of names of those wielding jewish power in government, the arts, social sciences, law, banking, etc. There is also an extensive listing of jewish media moguls, a la Pierce's "Who Rules America"; in fact I believe this book predates the National Alliance itself. Robertson sees jews as part of a group of "Unassimilable White Minorities" which includes the darker-skinned Mediterranean racial types such as Spaniards and Southern Italians. Despite the increasing incidence of jewish outmarriage, he nevertheless argues that "the 3,000 year old record of Jewish nonassimilation has only been broken once" and is doubtful that it could occur in America. Separation, ultimately, is his only solution "to put a stop to the Jewish envelopment of America." But that will happen only "(w)hen and if a resuscitated America has the strength and the will" to do so. (p. 200)
There is an extensive discussion of White racial types in this book and Robertson seems to accept a simple grouping into Nordic, Alpine and Mediterranean classifications, although he details various other subcategories that have been proposed by race scientists such as Carlton Coon. The American "Majority" now includes both Nordic and Alpine as well as some lighter-pigmented members of the Mediterranean group. There are plenty of tables with population and demographic statistics for those interested in the numbers. But the bottom line is that while the "Majority" is still a statistical majority, it is no longer in control of the country it built.
One of the major reasons for this is, to put it perhaps more crudely than Robertson would, race traitors, both conscious and unconscious. He classifies these Whites working for anti-White interests in five categories which he calls "Gracchites" (wealthy Whites exploiting minorities for political gain), "Trucklers" (others pandering to minority racism), "Pussyfooters" (those who pretend racial problems don't exist), "Old Believers" (honest liberals who don't realize they are working against the interests of their race), and finally the "Proditors" (outright traitors). All of these persons he calls "Splitters of the Ranks" "damage the Majority less by their activity or passivity, their secret complicity or open collaboration with the opposition than by the confusion with which they surround the Majority-minority confrontation." In other words, the presence of prominent gentile members in a jew-dominated organization or political movement tends to mask its jewish essence. Whenever you bring up the subject of jewish domination of the media, for example, there will invariably be someone who will say, "Ted Turner is not a jew" or "NBC is owned by General Electric, a publicly traded corporation." They of course overlook the fact that jews are in charge of programming at NBC just as they were at CNN even when Turner still had full control of its operations.
What is remarkable about The Dispossessed Majority is how well it has withstood the test of time. Since 1987, the latest date mentioned in the Third Edition, there have been some monumental changes in the political landscape, including most notably the collapse of the Soviet Union and the independence of its satellite nations. Since much of the book is given over to a discussion of American foreign policy, one might expect much of this material to seem dated. However, even here he has some valuable insights. While he several times defends Senator Joseph McCarthy, Robertson is not a knee-jerk anti-Communist by any means. He is also not wed to free-market capitalism, either, as he believes (as I do) that race is far more important than economics. At one point he even speculates that Soviet Communism might collapse from its own weight, as it actually did. He also makes the point that the Soviet Union was going through its own dispossessed majority phase and as he was writing, the Russian Majority (the "Great Russians) had recaptured their country from the jews. I'm not sure how he would fit this in with what really happened after the fall of communism when jewish oligarchs plundered the country; it would seem that jews still held considerable power in Russia despite all of the jewish emigration and talk of Soviet anti-Semitism.
In short, Robertson's analysis of our racial landscape is brilliant, scholarly, and highly readable. He occasionally displays a sardonic wit, and I found I could not put down this book until I had finished it: it took me only a couple of days. But while he is strong on analysis, like so many other White Nationalist writers, he is short on solutions. At best, he is hopeful that the racial dynamics will augur a return to Majority rule, but it is not an unguarded optimism. I understand he has in fact become more pessimistic about even the very survival of the American nation since he wrote his last revision. Robertson has authored a later book, The Ethno State, which was published in 1993. I've ordered a copy of that book, and it will be at the top of my reading list. The Dispossessed Majority, however, should be on the reading list of all racially conscious Whites who are concerned for the future of our country and the future of our race.

In my younger days I subscribed to Instauration for at least three years. I really enjoyed this excellent magazine that helped me develop and grow in my Jew-consciousness.
As for Robertson's book Dispossessed Majority. Read it several times and found it to be another outstanding growing experience. I look forward to the day when it becomes required reading in every school in our nation.

Robertson published a smaller, condensed paperback edition of Dispossessed Majority in the late '80's--it would be worthwhile to update this version and to put it on-line.
I pray that WR is in good health...as a WW II officer vet he must be in his 80's today.
