In St. Petersburg Fl. a five year old girl was handcuffed with plastic ties and metal handcuff were placed on her legs and then she was placed in the back of a police car all this because she became angry in her classroom.
Not even in Cuba would anyone have done this, makes me wonder about the country that has been my home for the past fifty plus years.

I think one of the big problems with our educational system has to do with the fact that nearly all school-teachers are female. All this excessive fear of violence and overreaction is just typical female hysteria at work. Women are great at some professions like Nursing, but not education. American education is a mess because most women enter the field because they "like" children. Men go into education because they like learning.
