Suspect Caught in Atlanta Shootings
By Karen Jacobs
ATLANTA (Reuters) - The suspect in the shooting deaths of a Georgia judge and two other people was taken into custody on Saturday after a standoff, Atlanta police said.

Brian Nichols, 33, was apprehended north of Atlanta in Gwinnett County, police told Reuters.
"He is in custody," said Sgt. Terry Joyner of the Atlanta Police Department.
Hundreds of police had fanned out in a search across Georgia and neighboring southeastern states after the 9 a.m. shooting on Friday at the Fulton County Courthouse.
Atlanta police said the suspect grabbed a gun from a sheriff's deputy and opened fire in the chambers of Judge Rowland Barnes. The Superior Court judge and a court stenographer were killed on the spot and a sheriff's deputy was fatally shot outside the courthouse.
On Saturday, city police were investigating the fatal shooting of a U.S. Customs agent found dead several miles north of where the courthouse killings occurred.
"We're not sure if it's related or unrelated at this time," said Joyner.
But CNN quoted the head of the state Bureau of Investigation on Saturday as saying the death of the customs agent was likely tied to the Nichols case.
"They only call me when they know it is connected," said Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Vernon Keenan.
Police Chief Richard Pennington said on Saturday Nichols had taken a second gun before entering the courtroom.
"We think right after he took the first deputy's weapon, he got engaged with another deputy and we believe that he took that person's weapon, too," Pennington told CNN. "He's in possession of two weapons."
Outside the court building on Friday, Nichols assaulted a journalist and carjacked several vehicles in quick succession, according to police and witness reports. However, it remains unclear whether the suspect escaped on foot or in a car.
The deputy who lost her gun was in critical condition but expected to survive, police said.
On Saturday, television reports showed video from a security surveillance camera shortly after the shooting in which a man resembling Nichols walks calmly down the stairwell of a nearby parking lot where one of the hijacked cars was found. The bald man wore a black jacket over his bare chest and did not seem in a hurry.
Nichols was being retried on rape and other charges involving an ex-girlfriend and faced a possible life sentence if convicted. His first trial ended in a hung jury last week and prosecutors said Nichols likely believed the second trial would end with a conviction.
Authorities set up a tip hotline and announced a $60,000 reward to anyone providing information that led to Nichols' arrest.

I saw the arrest on CNN.
I was actually relieved to see that he was Congoid. When I heard his name - Brian Nichols - I pictured a really ticked off young white guy with long light brown hair, a scraggly beard, and crazed blue eyes.
The press would have had a field day with that.
CNN didn't even mention his race during the manhunt, at least that I heard, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm really sorry we don't have the electric chair anymore. This guy deserves to be fried.
I wonder how long it will take the "Concerned Black Clergy" to start making excuses for him?

The local tv coverage has shown some interesting things. The murderer was moved from one facility to another. They used five vehicles and what appeared to be around 30 cops as an escort. That's a platoon. At every crossing they stopped traffic to allow clear passage. When I see all of this I think this is a case of public relations and bolting the barn door after the horses and livestock have bolted. All it would have taken in the first place was for two big, male deputies to have escorted this murderer at the beginning before this fiasco took place.
This is not the first time we have had problems with that jail. In the past there have been numerous escapes and in one recent incident some rapper was allowed access to the jail at night to make a rap video. Needless to say, the authorities knew nothing about this. The best thing to be done is to get rid of the Sheriff's Dept. and merge it with the Atlanta or Fulton county P.D. Fortunately, it appears that the F.B.I. going to maintain control over the prisoner and not the Sheriff's Dept.

Good to see that the savage negro beast has been caught. Definitely another candidate for one of N.B. Forrest's patented "Hemp Rope Chiropractic Adjustments". So sad to think that all of this mayhem was so preventable. Damn the PC, multi-culti crowd.

Shooting suspect tracked down From correspondents in Atlanta, Georgia 13-03-2005 From: Agence France-Presse
US police today arrested a suspect in the Atlanta courthouse shooting rampage that left a judge and two others dead. Atlanta Police Chief Richard Pennington told CNN the man was taken into custody at an apartment complex in north Atlanta following a 26-hour manhunt.
Police moved in after spotting a vehicle he had allegedly stolen in the wake of yesterday's killings.
Chief Pennington said that "even though he did peacefully turn himself in", the case was only beginning.
No injuries were reported during the arrest, but the pick-up truck 33-year-old Brian Nichols apparently used to get to the Gwinnett County apartment complex belonged to a man who had been found dead.
Television footage showed pictures of the handcuffed and shackled suspect being taken to an FBI field office, flanked by heavily armed officers.
Yesterday's rampage also left a sheriff's deputy in critical condition in hospital.
Mr Nichols allegedly wrested a gun from the officer who was escorting him to an eighth-floor courtroom where he was due for a hearing in his rape case.
Authorities claim he shot her in the mouth before bursting into the courtroom and fatally shooting Fulton County Superior Court Judge Rowland Barnes and a court reporter.
As he fled the building, Mr Nichols allegedly shot and killed another sheriff's deputy.
The judge had earlier asked authorities to provide extra security because he thought Mr Nichols could turn violent if convicted. Earlier this week, Mr Nichols was found to be hiding two hand-made knives in his shoes.
Nevertheless, he was not wearing leg shackles and was only escorted by one deputy, who removed his handcuffs as she led him to the courtroom.
Mr Nichols had been in jail since August on charges of breaking into his former girlfriend's apartment, binding her with duct tape and raping her. He was being retried and facing possible life imprisonment, after a first trial ended in a hung jury.

Suspect in Courthouse Killings Caught After Atlanta Manhunt By SHAILA DEWAN
Published: March 13, 2005
ATLANTA, March 12 - After eluding scores of officers for a day, the man who law enforcement officials say killed a judge, a court reporter and a sheriff's deputy in a courthouse rampage was captured on Saturday morning in an apartment complex in north Atlanta, police officials said.
The suspect, Brian Nichols, surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody by a SWAT team that descended on the Bridgewater Apartments complex in Gwinnett County after a report of a hostage situation.
Only hours before his arrest, law enforcement agencies stepped up what already had been an enormous manhunt, after an off-duty federal customs agent was found shot to death in a neighborhood in north Atlanta. Investigators said the officer's killer took his gun, his badge and his blue pickup truck.
As investigators were trying to determine whether that killing might be linked to the courthouse killings, the SWAT team was moving in on the apartment complex, where television footage showed a parked blue pickup truck, believed to belong to the customs officer.
The arrest of Mr. Nichols ended an intense 24 hours for Atlanta residents, who expressed frustration that the killer had been able not only to defy courthouse security, but also to evade capture for so long despite the vast manhunt by local law enforcement agencies and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
Earlier, the search for Mr. Nichols suffered a setback - and the Atlanta police a public embarrassment - when a green Honda that investigators believed Mr. Nichols had carjacked and used in his escape was found in the very parking garage where he commandeered it, more than 12 hours earlier.
For much of Friday, the police had concentrated their efforts on trying to track down the car, which Mr. Nichols is believed to have taken at gunpoint from a reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Don O'Briant, as he was parking it. The authorities had issued an all points bulletin on the Honda, broadcasting its description and license plate number over television, radio and the highway alert network. But about 10 p.m. Friday, the car was found in the same parking garage, a level below.
The Atlanta police chief, Richard J. Pennington, said in an interview on CNN on Saturday morning that the police had not searched the garage earlier because of information indicating that the car had left.
A security videotape of the garage, broadcast by CNN, showed a man, believed to be Mr. Nichols, walking down the steps of the garage just a few minutes after the car was taken.
Emerging details of the case drew a portrait of a cunning and violent fugitive. Mr. Nichols, on trial for rape and facing possible life in prison, wrested a gun from a sheriff's deputy who was escorting him to the courtroom on Friday about 9 a.m., the police say.
Lt. Clarence Huber, a spokesman for the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, said late Friday evening that he did not know the standard procedures for escorting prisoners in the courthouse, and could not say what kind of holster the deputy, Cynthia Hall, had been issued. Deputy Hall, 51, described as about 5 feet tall, was apparently alone with Mr. Nichols, who is 6-foot-1 and weighs 210 pounds. She removed his handcuffs so he could change into street clothes. As he was dressing, Mr. Nichols apparently attacked Deputy Hall, leaving her in critical condition with a head wound and facial fractures, investigators said.
The police said that Mr. Nichols, armed with the deputy's gun, then went to the courtroom, where he overpowered a second deputy, handcuffed him and took that officer's gun as well.
Then, in front of about a dozen people, the police said, Mr. Nichols shot Superior Court Judge Rowland W. Barnes and the court reporter, Julie Ann Brandau. He then fled the building, killing a third victim, Sgt. Hoyt Teasley, a deputy sheriff, when the officer confronted him outside.
From then on, Mr. Nichols stayed a few steps ahead of law enforcement agents, commandeering at least four vehicles in downtown Atlanta in quick succession, including a tow truck. Mr. O'Briant, whose green Honda was the focus of so much attention, said Mr. Nichols threatened to shoot him and pistol-whipped him.
The police now believe that Mr. Nichols was unable to exit the parking garage with Mr. O'Briant's car because he had no money and no identification, said Sgt. John Quigley, a police spokesman.
Mr. Nichols was on trial in the rape of his ex-girlfriend, accused of holding her hostage for two days in her home while he raped her. Prosecutors say he forced his victim to shower both before and after the assault, and that he used a condom.
He threatened to kill her and her family if she reported the rape, said Eric Friedly, a spokesman for the Fulton County district attorney's office.

There are probably civil service rules that prohibit "discrimination" by gender when assigning deputies to guard prisoners.

No wonder Hymie's getting nervous about affirmative action. Gorillas guarding the gulags is not going to make for a very effective police state. I may have to rethink my opposition to AA, at least for gubmint jobs. If we can't have pro-Whites in those jobs, the next best thing would be to fill them with these incompetents.

Naw, the N.A.A.C.P. and the S.P.L.C. will rise to the defense of this negro that is a "victim" of the white man and white laws designed to subjugate the negro race. Since the N.A.A.C.P. have issued a boycott of South Carolina, I am sure they will come to the defense of their poor Georgia cousin.

This guy is not your average street thug nig. He went to a very good private school (Cardinal Gibbons HS in Baltimore) and college. He's obviously very intelligent and snapped in a "falling down" way (i.e., not a sociopath). I think the problem here is that deputies and police viewed him as just some black criminal.

I donââ¬â¢t see this as negroidââ¬Â¦ anymore than the M & M snipers, obviously framedââ¬Â¦ your racism is showing.
He/it was set up for the hate effect by insider transdimensional professionals (Mossad and associates, going back to Koresh, Mc Veigh, Columbine) and diversion of attention from: (as I have already pointed out) the ââ¬ÅWhite racist hateââ¬Â publicity smear of Matt Hale et al in Chicago over Judge Lefkow family killings -- suddenly chalked off to a ââ¬ÅBart Rossââ¬Â who conveniently offs himself. Plus, the communist Italian journalist Giuliani Sgrena hit (I hold Vailââ¬â¢s account 80% good) to keep ââ¬ÅAmericanââ¬Â atrocities in Iraq from exploding in world news, which it should do.
At the symbolic level, which those scripting these affairs are obliged to keep an eye on, the outpouring of hate and vileness now on Chimps who Rape and Sodomize, like Brian Nichols, will show off how ââ¬ËMurcans (Reagan imitation) punish the guilty. Its called psychotic reversal.
An immigration agent ââ¬Årandomlyââ¬Â encountered (how?ââ¬ânot explained) by fleeing fugitive -- killed and grieved for -- bringing in the Fed full force? (ââ¬ÅHomeland Securityââ¬Â was actually mentioned)? Too much. The time lines donââ¬â¢t add up. I watched what TV showed both days. When, where, exactly, after the shooting of the judge, did this single individual supposed to have ââ¬Åcommandeeredââ¬Â several vehicles? Was he just wandering around town, commandeering and whacking until deciding to hop a train? There must be a lot of witnesses they could find to see if there was just one ââ¬ÅNicholsââ¬Â.
More than one person is involved here. Several things don't add up. America is being hoaxed again, big, big time. Two political assassinations in the heartlandââ¬Â¦.softened up for Jesusââ¬â¢ return yet? I blame Rove-Bush Republicans and whoever supports them. They are the ones who have the most to lose when the truth comes down.

Plenty of Whites commit atrocious crimes, but White communities usually go back to being safe places to live after they're captured - it may be years, or even decades, before there's another serious incident. It's not the crimes, it's the crime rates. I remember hearing a cop on the radio talking about driving through a black neighborhood and suddenly realizing that he had arrested someone in every single house on the block! When that comes in to your community it's a real nightmare. That's what a lot of us are fighting for here, the freedom of association right to move the hell away from that and never have to worry about it following us again.
