You would think that neocon shills could do a little better than "the dog ate my homework."

This crap is nothing more than an old story that was peddled on Fox by MG Paul Vallery (ret).

I wish there were a way to parlay all this into something making money for me. Perhaps a stupidity stock market, where I could buy shares of "Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11" and shares of "the criticism of Russia/Putin is all about Khodorkovsky and the other thieving oligarch tribesmen". And the Christian Zionists, dittoheads, et al. would increase my profits by countering my bets. I'd like to buy a few shares in "the Cedar Revolution in Lebanon will end in full Hizbollah control and return to Shiite militancy" and a butt-load of shares in "Iraq will be mired in violence and conflict for years and out of it will emerge disparate Islamism, Shiite to Wahabbite".

Sadly Hordes people will believe every word of it... I saw “Redneck” type who looked about 60 in an old Chevy Truck with a “Nuke Iraq Now” sticker on the back. The Neocons have many Useful Idiots for their Corrupt Schems.

Faust,

This story reminds me of the one where they claimed that there were three freighters floating around in the Indian Ocean loaded with WMDs. No one ever asked the liars how they got past the 5th Fleet blockade of Iraq. Of course, that story went into the memory hole.

After typing this I think you may be onto something, Jack.

Any time the Neocons dont like someone they are accused of either having WMD or helping someone with WMD and that way they put their foot on the door in order to be able to do something in the future.

I wonder why no one says anything about the USA selling WMD to the Zionist state of Israel........or the Zionists selling American WMD to China and others.

Or he chides Putin for being undemocratic, when Putin was voted in via a democratic election and his policies meet with overwhelming support from the Russia people, yet Bush has nothing but praise for Pervez Musharaf who came to power via a military coup and rules the country as a military dictator.

Or the Jews, who are the most vociferous opponents of prayer in school, Ten Commandments displays, Nativity displays , et al., for the reason of "separation of Church and state", yet with unanimity they support the largest chunk of foreign aid, U.S. tax dollars, going to a religious state.

I could on and on.

I've noticed ads on a few pro-neocon sites for a service that let's you bet on a stable and prosperous Iraq by buying Iraqi currency. Maybe you could buy some currency derivative based on the prediction that Iraq's economy and civil society will collapse?

Rowdy? last week I spoke with an Army Cpt. who just got back from Iraq and he told me that most Americans (from privates to generals) up there are buying a handfull of Iraqi currency for a dollar and that they are buying many dollars.
