[I]TAC/Vdare/isteve's Steve Sailer continues to carve out a journalist niche for himself as a Bell Curve-savvy guy who won't advocate explicitly for whites but serves a useful purpose by going farther than most non-white nationalist commentators on the issue of racial difference. Along with pointing out some of the easier absurdities of multiracial living, 2005. This column's a good example. This case, Johnson v. California, is in sore need of evisceration, and Sailer manages to give it some good deep paper cuts.[/I]
SCOTUS: Segregation Worse Than Interracial Homosexual Rape! By Steve Sailer
Back when an affluent lifestyle featured plenty of steaks, smokes, and Scotch, Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court [SCOTUS] tended to do us the favor of dropping dead of heart attacks or lung cancer before reaching the age of severe mental decline.
Sadly, the clean living fad has taken its toll on the Court. As Linda Greenhouse reported in the New York Times (January 16, 2005):
"From 1789 to 1970, the average Supreme Court justice served for 15.2 years and retired at 68.5. But since 1970, the average tenure has risen to 25.5 years and the average age at departure to 78.8."
Today, Clarence Thomas is the only Justice under the age of 65. John Paul Stevens, who has been on the Bench for three decades, will turn 85 in April.
Of course, the Justices have staffs. But the SCOTUS budget is apparently insufficient to pay for grown-ups. So the Justices are aided by freshly minted law school grads, typically in their mid-20s.
You might call them the Puerile assisting the Senile.
The dangerous lack of contact between the real world and the Justices/clerks was evident in last week's Johnson v. California decision.
An inmate named Garrison S. Johnson, a member of the black street gang The Crips, has long been amusing himself via the popular prison hobby of jailhouse lawyering. He sued to ban the California Department of Corrections' policy of temporarily matching new and transferred prisoners as cellmates based on ethnicity until their propensity for racial violence can be evaluated. After 60 days, prisoners are generally allowed to pick their own cellmates.
This murderer's nuisance suit has now been upheld by the Supreme Court. It returned the case to a lower court with instructions to impose "strict scrutiny" on California's policy of short-term racial segregation (i.e., outlaw it).
In her majority opinion, Justice Sandra Day O'Connor asserted:
"In the prison context, when the government's power is at its apex, we think that searching judicial review of racial classifications is necessary to guard against invidious discrimination."
Yet no evidence of invidious discriminatory intent or effect was shown. California's temporary segregation policy is not a relic of the Jim Crow past, but, like so many of that multicultural state's innovations, a harbinger of America's future. California began temporary segregation only a quarter of a century agoââ¬ânot to harm any race but to protect prisoners from the growing interracial violence.
California's penitentiaries are dominated by vicious ethnic gangs such as the Mexican Mafia of Southern California, La Nuestra Familia of Northern California, the Black Guerilla Family, the Aryan Brotherhood, and the Nazi Low Riders. (As their part-white / part-Chicano name implies, the Nazi Low Riders are the only diversity-sensitive gang. Because of California's shortage of violent white criminals, they admit Latinos of at least half-white ancestry.)
Indeed, there is no evidence that Plaintiff Johnson ever actually wanted a cellmate of a different race. As Justice Thomas noted in his coruscating dissent (joined by Antonin Scalia):
"Of the 17 years Johnson has been incarcerated, California has assigned him a cellmate of the same race for no more than a year (and probably more like four months); Johnson has had black cellmates during the other 16 years, but by his own choice."
In her concurring opinion, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg amusingly attempted to rationalize her vote for biased race preferences in the 2003 Grutter v. U. of Michigan case upholding affirmative action and her current vote against neutral race-conscious measures intended to prevent violence.
As Greenhouse wrote in the NYT (January 16):
"Citing her own concurring opinion in the case two years ago that upheld an affirmative-action admissions policy at the University of Michigan Law School, Justice Ginsburg said that 'measures taken to hasten the day when entrenched discrimination and its aftereffects have been extirpated' should be judged under a more relaxed standard. But she said she agreed in the prison case 'that the stereotypical classification at hand warrants rigorous scrutiny.'"
In other words:
Separate But Equal in State Prisons: Bad
Separate But Unequal in State Colleges: Good
Thomas dissented devastatingly:
"Yet two Terms ago, in upholding the University of Michigan Law Schoolââ¬â¢s affirmative-action program, this Court deferred to the judgment by the law schoolââ¬â¢s faculty and administrators on their need for diversity in the student bodyââ¬Â¦ Deference would seem all the more war*ranted in the prison context, for whatever the Court knows of administering educational institutions, it knows much less about administering penal ones."
Proof of just how ignorant of prison the Justices are: Stevens, the octogenarian liberal trying to cling to life until President Hillary Clinton can appoint his successor, also derided the "stereotypes" held by officials who merely spend their every working day in prisons:
"One of these [California] officials, an associate warden, testified as follows:
'[W]ith the Asian population, the control sergeants have to be more careful than they do with Blacks, Whites, and Hispanics because, for example, you cannot house a Japanese inmate with a Chinese inmate. You cannot. They will kill each other. They wonââ¬â¢t even tell you about it. They will just do it. The same with Laotians, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Filipinos. You have to be very careful about housing other Asians with other Asians. Itââ¬â¢s very culturally heavy.'
"Such musings inspire little confidence. Indeed, this comment supports the suspicion that the policy is based on racial stereotypes and outmoded fears about the dangers of racial integration. This Court should give no credence to such cynical, reflexive conclusions about race."
I suspect Justice Stevens and/or his 20-something clerks have been watching too many bad Hollywood movies featuring cooperative multiracial gangs, complete with black computer hackers, acrobatic Asian cat burglars, and so forth.
In contrast, good gang movies, like The Godfather, are all about crime families. That's because criminals much prefer to be in business with their relatives, whom they can trust more. As Tony Soprano tells his cousin played by Steve Buscemi, "It's hard to do business with strangers."
And because racial groups are simply extended families given quasi-coherence and semi-permanence by some degree of inbreeding, gangs seldom cross racial lines.
Stevens memorably claimed: "[I]ntegrated cells encourage inmates to gain valuable cross-racial experiencesââ¬Â¦"
Exactly what are these "valuable cross-racial experiences"? The late Sam Francis explained one in a VDARE.com column called "Who Rapes in Prison?" which drew upon the report "No Escape: Male Rape in U.S. Prisons" by Human Rights Watch.
This liberal activist group pointed out:
"Past studies have documented the prevalence of black on white sexual aggression in prison.(213) These findings are further confirmed by Human Rights Watch's own research. Overall, our correspondence and interviews with white, black, and Hispanic inmates convince us that white inmates are disproportionately targeted for abuse.(214) Although many whites reported being raped by white inmates, black on white abuse appears to be more common. To a much lesser extent, non-Hispanic whites also reported being victimized by Hispanic inmates."
Rape radicalizes white prisoners. It drives them to join racist gangs for self-defense and revenge. For example, John William King, one of the three white men who dragged James Byrd Jr. to death in the notorious Jasper, TX anti-black hate crime, was a burglar who had earlier served a two-year sentence.
As Joseph Sobran observed:
"While in prison, [King] joined a white supremacist group and covered his body with Nazi and Klan tattoos. One psychiatrist at his trial suggested that this may have been a way to deter attacks by black inmates. Time magazine quotes another witness as saying King became part of a group known as 'peckerwoods,' described as 'whites who would not yield money or sexual favors to blacks.'"
If this country was serious about getting rid of white racist criminal gangs, it would do what it takes to eliminate their principle cause: minority-on-white prison rape.
But too many powerful interest groups benefit from the mere existence of white criminal organizations and their occasional hate crimes against minorities.
For example, the Democratic Party and the NAACP milked the Jasper murder for all it was worth (and far more) during Al Gore's Presidential campaign.
And Morris Dees' Southern Poverty Law Center has raked in millions by terrifying nice elderly liberals with horror stories about the Nazi Cossacks about to run amok again.
What could we do about these terrible problems?
First, we must make strong efforts to eliminate prison rape. It is the epitome of "cruel and unusual punishment."
Second, if we can't get rid of prison rape completely, we ought to think seriously about at least getting rid of interracial prison rapeââ¬âthat major cause of white gangsââ¬âby segregating all prisons for violent offenders by ethnicity. Then, at least, white inmates wouldn't have to choose between becoming a Nazi gang member and becoming a bitch.
Third, let's stop making the prison population larger by importing so many immigrants with above-average likelihoods of winding up in prisonââ¬âor of having sons who will end up there.
As the liberal National Center for Institutions and Alternatives reported in 2001, Hispanics are 3.7 times more likely to be in prison than whites.
Why are we needlessly making our prison problem worse by doing nothing to control immigration?

Race in prison is the one Burning Issue polite people not only won't talk about but will cover their eyes and ears to blot out.
If it weren't for the fact that the facts are politically useful to race-realists and tradcons, I think they'd be next in line to wish it away.
We live in a society where, every day, under the unending pressure to force reality to conform to multicultural fantasies, new laws are written and new criminals are minted overnight. Once created, new criminals-by-judicial-whim are thrown to the wolves...the [I]real [/I] bad guys...into snake pits that will either break them, kill them or harden them into irredeemable, amoral predators. And yet the vast majority of Americans are perfectly willing to laugh it all off with 'your new boyfriend Bubba' jokes, and to pretend that everybody inside is a murderer, kiddie-rapist or international jet-setting terrorist....ie, [I]it serves them right[/I]. (Unless they're black or Mexican, in which case they've been railroaded or are 'severely retarded' or were improperly Mirandized, and everyone notices the dilemna of the convicted prisoner ..)
In Consensus America, nobody goes to jail for passing bad checks or deewees or saying bad words. Sure they don't.

This isn't ignorance. This is avoiding uncomfortable truth that underscores the impotence and helplessness of the citizenry against a PC system - backed up with force of arms and the power to kill or imprison at will - so far out of control that I've now come to believe the average white American is simply hoping that he can keep busy & stay out of harm's way long enough to die of natural causes before they come for [I]him[/I].
Because, deep down, I think we all know that this system - PC, ZOG, corporate oligarchy or what[I]ever[/I] you choose to call it - wants those of us on the [I]outside [/I] to "yield money and sexual favors to blacks", too, and that our best bet to stall them for one day longer, keep the wolf away just one more day, is the burnt offerings of inconvenient, embarrassing or otherwise expendable whites....in this case, white convicts. And if it's more [I]human sacrifice [/I] than [I]burnt offering[/I], so what? The basketball game's about to start on channel 53 - don't harsh my buzz!

Your average white prison inmate is in for relatively trivial offenses: embezzlement, tax and insurance fraud, statutory "rape", drug charges, or perhaps one bar fight or DUI conviction too many, etc. It is a travesty that such people are housed in prisons with your typical negro criminal, who is hardened murderer, robber, and rapist by the time he reaches adolescence. To be sure, there are plenty of white thugs who fit this description too, but even among white criminals they are a marked minority. Among the negro population at large, the bestial predator is the rule rather than the exception.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Bush administration's DOJ came down on the prison de-segregation side in CA, because I recall thinking how ironic it was that it was liberal-land CA that would seek to protect white victims while the Bushies couldn't give a damn about whites in prison.

At first glance one is struck by how FREEKING NUTS that is. Prison is a jungle where reality quickly catches up and it quickly becomes stick with your own and defend your group interests or become killed, someone's bitch or constantly targeted for abuse.
From what I've heard about Soviet prison at the time, there is a camp of career criminals who rule the prison, there are bitches but one can stay an "honest man" if the initial attempt to subdue a new arrival is fought with heart and courage. That is, while physically one is powerless to overcome a mob, refusing to give in until passing out from beating earns one a ticket into a "honest man" camp. Of course, when duskies with enough ethnic solidarity appeared in sizeable numbers, Chechens for example, there appeared ethnic gangs too.
Anyway, the point is, nothing comes close to depravity of the deterministic "join the Aryan Brotherhood or take it from an ape" of the American prison system, or constant jokes about it from whites.

All such bestial predators, irrespective of race (although they would probably be about 70% Black and 20% Mestizo), as soon as they are psychiatrically identified (without informing them of their new legal status), and are subsequently convicted of another violent felony, including any crime(s) committed while already incarcerated, should be hanged the next day.

Indeed it is. When our nation enters into the (hopefully brief) period of Negroidesque, predatory lawlessness, where all our streets become very much like the prisons being described here, as seems to me an almost inevitable step on the righteous journey towards reclaiming this land for ourselves and our posterity, Justice Stevens will no more be protected than any of the rest of us. I doubt they'd rape such an elderly man, but perhaps they'd get a kick out of shoving a broken bottle up inside of him. Negroes do oh so love that sort of thing. If he's capable of any empathy at all, perhaps he will also discover, in is agonizing, final moments before merciful death, that he is also capable of shame for having been a collaborator in countless thousands of similar acts against young, innocent White boys in all 50 states. Couldn't happen to a nicer fellow, in any event....
