Now in Texas illegals are taken to the bus station ,and even given fare if they don't have any money, in order for them to go anywhere they choose to go to.
If they don't have a family member in the US the the migra will tell them to say that they have a cousin called Rosa somewhere.
The reason that the "Migra" is doing this is because there is no more space in jail in order to hold them, if they are cough at the border they are sent back right away and if a whole family are caough they they are place in one of the better hotels in the area till such a time that they have to appear in court, sometimes this will take weeks.
They are no longer called illegals or undocumented but emigrants.
I think that I'll go to Mexico and cross the rio grande without any paper work and if the US dosen't have a limo waiting for me then I'll take the whole government to court for cruelty and mental anguish

its hard to admit, but its that bad and worse. this, in the same state that gave santa anna the bird. im not sure if at some point it stopped being an issue of money (cheap labor) and became a political "hot potato" that nobody wants to touch.
ponce, if i were you, just for your own safety, i wouldnt be visiting the southwest much these days. when the gringos finally get fed up with their "elected leaders", im not so sure they will stop to ask questions first, before grabbing any/everyone that looks/walks/talks in any way similar to a mexican....and slinging them back across the border, one way or the other.

La Migra still checks the buses out of Harlingen and yanks them off, but I do not know if they actually get deported.
Our folks sure hassle you at the bridge though. Everyone is treated like a criminal who comes back over, regardless of color or nationality. Equal opportunity harrassment.
