I'd like to plant a boot in his backside at the minimum.
Perle said the war in Iraq was justified based on the intelligence available at the time. "Sometimes the things we have to do are objectionable to others," he said.
Perle demostrates his versatility by being able to tell a lie quickly followed by a true statement.
Lie: I know damn well that his friends in the Likud Party tipped him off that Israeli intelligence didn't think much of the crap Perle's buddy Feith was peddling.
Truth: He is right about that some of the things they (Perle + Co) do in our name that some of us get quite mad about it.
Perle had his own barbs, too. He began his opening comments in the 1 1/2-hour debate by saying Democrats "looked at the Democratic Party and chose a physician to lead them."
If the Republican "Stupid" Party keeps it up their next "leader" will be an undertaker.
But, Perle added, "I will be surprised, yet again, if we do not see a square in Baghdad named after this president." He did not specify a time.
I can specify a time. When hell freezes over.

Perle is an evil bastard.
Perle had his own barbs, too. He began his opening comments in the 1 1/2-hour debate by saying Democrats "looked at the Democratic Party and chose a physician to lead them." Is Perle unaware of the fact that the Senate Majority Leader is Bill Frist, the only practicing doctor in the Senate?

Q,
Good Point!
I think that he doesn't care, or it is ignorance on his part, or more likely the arrogance that is the Perle trademark.
Protester Throws Shoe at Richard Perle
Feb 18, 7:37 AM (ET)
By RUKMINI CALLIMACHI
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Howard Dean, the newly minted leader of the Democratic Party, and former Pentagon adviser Richard Perle made clear their opposing views on the war in Iraq during a debate marred **by a protester who tossed a shoe at Perle.
Perle had just started his comments Thursday when a protester threw a shoe at him before being dragged away, screaming, "Liar! Liar!"
Perle, who was Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld's top policy adviser, was a key architect of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, and Dean is among the war's most prominent opponents.**
In his new role as chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Dean has stressed that Democrats are stronger than Republicans on defense.
"Defense is a lot broader than swaggering around saying you're going to kick Saddam's butt," Dean said Thursday, drawing cheers from the crowd in this city that overwhelmingly voted Democratic last November.

That must be that Other Shoe I've heard so much about.
I'm interested to learn the shoe-thrower's name and his eventual fate. This Administration likes to make examples - via long prison sentences - out of any of we unimportant demographic blips known as "everyday Americans" who dare to demand its ouster and/or prosecution . That man is a patriot and his name should be known...if only to guarantee he doesn't get Gitmoed and/or Lynndie Englanded, out of sight and out of mind.

Perle is one of the most odious and dangerous men in the establishment. He and his fellow Zionist neocons have cost we taxpayers hundreds of billlions and have caused 1 billion moslems to hate us. Thousands of our best stock have been greviously wounded through the machinations of this monster, not to mention over 1400 dead.
As for Dean, he was demonized by the media because he dared to suggest the breakup of the media oligarchs in January 2004, although he didn't use my noun! Even though he's married to a Jewish position, he seems to have a more WASPy orientation than most Democrat leaders, although all of us know that we have only one party with two branches and both are in thrall to Judah.
Perle is an evil bastard.
The ferocious tribalism of Wolfowitz wrapped up with the personal venality of Cheney. But, hey, it's takes something special to outdo the competition for the title of "Prince of Darkness" in Washington, D.C.

It's too bad that protester didn't have something a little more potent than a shoe handy to attack Perle with.
