I don't necessarily think that all Jews who object to the appointment of Chertoff or other aspects of the neocon agenda are only faking their disapproval. Many Jews are genuinely liberal in a sense that conflicts with the neocons. What is nearly uniform among Jews, however, is their concern about their Tribe. Almost all of them believe that Jewish interests come first; where they often disagree is about how best to serve those interests.
Both the "liberal" Jewish agenda -- multiculturalism, promotion of homosexuality, gun control, etc. -- and the neocon agenda are dangerous, even though they are in some ways opposed to each other. You'll notice, however, that both agendas include strong support for Israel. That tells the story right there. Some might argue that that common thread is only due to the strength of the Jewish lobby, but the NRA is a strong lobby too, and that's never stopped Feinstein, Boxer, Schumer, and Waxman from opposing it.

What you write is true enough. They are not monolithic. My own view about them is this. We have the secularists like the gay lobby, gun control types, etc. that you note above and then you have the Bibical fanatics represented by the Likud party and the various religious parties. They sqaubble with one another but will always close ranks [B]against the rest of us[/B] when it comes to the overall interest of the tribe.

Of course Lieberman dosen't mind, he knows that he will be getting the post of Secretary of Defense.........after all, the armed forces seving the Jews should have a Jewish commander.

In my opinion, Israel and their 'uber alles' fundamentalist Christian cheerleaders are going to initiate accidently or deliberately, a WMD mega-catastrophe. In what country? I haven't clue....But it's going to happen.
Then the sheeple will be lookin for the Jew...And it won't be to shake his hand!

Maybe this time we can initiate safeguards that prevent the Jew virus from developing in the first place.
Of course... we'll have to wait for the purge cycle.

We'll have to see a complete collapse of the current political/economic/mass media system before we can hope to break them out of a trance.
Once the trance is broken, then all bets are off. Not sure how that will happen, though.
